To Those Who Still Hold a Trace of Human Conscience in Their Hearts: Gaza is Dying of Hunger
In response to the global mobilization against the policy of starvation and the ongoing genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, the Department of External Relations of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine has sent a message to hundreds of political parties and grassroots movements around the world. The message calls for raising the slogan: “Stop the War of Starvation—Lift the Siege on Gaza” and intensifying street mobilization to urgently deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The message states:
The forms of human suffering in Gaza are many: from civilians being killed in their homes, shelters, schools, international facilities, and in the streets—even while collecting food aid—to a more harrowing form of death that is now spreading widely throughout the Strip, especially among children: death by starvation.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has documented the martyrdom of 798 people waiting for aid in Gaza in less than a month and a half. The number of children who have died due to malnutrition in Gaza has risen to 85, bringing the total number of deaths from lack of food and medicine to over 660. A report issued by the United Nations and other international bodies warned that the entire Gaza Strip is facing a high risk of famine, given the continued closure of crossings and the extreme scarcity of food.
Remaining silent in the face of what is happening in Gaza is a betrayal of human conscience, a betrayal of ethics, religion, and every value of humanity. At a time when the United Nations works to reduce poverty worldwide, the people of Gaza are fighting for their very survival. Whom do you believe? "Israel's" claims that it is acting in self-defense, or the faces of Gaza’s starving children, women, and sick? The words and promises of American officials to stop the war, or the hundreds of martyrs ascending in the streets and shelters? Do you believe the statements of Western officials condemning the blockade, or the reports from international institutions unanimously describing the Gaza catastrophe as beyond description due to the scale of human suffering?
🚨 IOF operations intensified with a horrific massacre of aid seekers in northern Gaza, resulting in over 66 martyrs. Heavy shelling and airstrikes were concentrated on Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and northern Gaza areas, while new, large-scale evacuation orders were issued for southwestern Deir al-Balah, displacing more families. Several children succumbed to starvation.

We appeal to the masses of our Palestinian people wherever they are, our Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world, to intensify popular, political, and media efforts and massive, pressing movements to stop this ongoing crime, end the unjust siege, and break the extermination project carried out by the occupation state with American support and international inaction.
7. We call on all solidarity activists with our Palestinian people around the world to intensify their actions and unite their efforts to pressure their governments to stop their support and complicity with Netanyahu's fascist government, and to work towards ending the policies of extermination and starvation practiced against our people, and achieving justice and freedom for Palestine.
8. In light of this tragic scene, we renew our pledge to the masses of our people that, while we feel your pain and suffering, we will continue our efforts to end them, and we will proceed with the option of comprehensive resistance until the siege is broken, the aggression is stopped, and our people's goals of liberation, return, and independence are achieved.

🟢 Hamas held the U.S. and Netanyahu jointly liable, demands the instant opening of Rafah and unfettered entry of the thousands of tons of aid piling up outside Gaza.
🔴 The PFLP warned of a genocidal use of hunger as a weapon. They said that “seasonal solidarity” is no longer enough and calls for a global intifada against zionist‑Western complicity.

The global movement against starvation in Gaza aims to achieve the broadest global solidarity with Gaza, re-mobilize the nation and the free people of the world, and emphasize the necessity of their standing against the systematic policy of starvation and oppression practiced by the occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip.

♦️ The DFLP mourns its comrade Muhammad Kamal al-Da'alsa (36) and his son Joud Muhammad Kamal al-Da'alsa (7), who were martyred in a criminal bombing by the IOF in front of their home in Sheikh Radwan, #Gaza City.
The DFLP mourned its loyal martyr, who joined its ranks early in his life and up to the moment of his martyrdom. The DFLP affirmed that the occupation will not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinian people, that the blood of the martyrs illuminates the path to victory and freedom, and affirmed their adherence to resistance.

Press statement issued by the Palestinian Factions regarding the war of starvation and genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip
The Palestinian factions are following with deep concern and comprehensive popular mobilization the systematic genocide crime that our steadfast people in the Gaza Strip are subjected to, embodied in the war of starvation, widespread bombing, and comprehensive siege, carried out by the zionist occupation government led by the criminal Netanyahu, with direct and blatant support from the American administration, and shameful international complicity and suspicious silence from the European Union and international community institutions.
Our people are entering their twenty-second month in confronting this comprehensive, open war, which has gone beyond bombing, killing, and destruction, to include the use of starvation and medical and humanitarian siege through the deliberate prevention of food and medical aid, in a desperate attempt to subjugate them and break their will.
What the Strip is subjected to is considered a war crime according to international laws and norms, and a crime against humanity by all standards, surpassing in its brutality, criminality, and sadism the crimes of Nazism and Fascism. In the face of these continuous crimes, we affirm the following:
1. We hold the war criminal Netanyahu and his fascist government fully responsible for the policies of genocide and the war of starvation they are practicing against more than two million Palestinians, in an organized crime that constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.
2. We hold the American administration, as the primary partner and sponsor of the criminal Netanyahu's government, fully responsible for the continuation of this brutal aggression, and for the failure of the negotiation process due to the absence of any serious pressure on the occupation government to stop its crimes.
3. We denounce the suspicious international silence, especially from the European Union, and consider that the United Nations' inability and the international community's inaction encourage the occupation to continue its crimes against our besieged people in the Gaza Strip.
4. We affirm that these crimes clearly reveal the intentions of the occupation government, which does not seek calm or agreement, but rather aims to empty the land and impose a project of extermination and forced displacement.
5. We warn that the continuation of this approach may negatively affect the negotiation process and open the door to escalation possibilities, holding the "israeli" government and its supporting countries responsible.

Deterioration of Journalist Mahmoud Shallah’s Health Due to Malnutrition in Gaza
The Palestinian Journalists Protection Center (PJPC) expressed solidarity with photojournalist Mahmoud Shallah, who suffered a severe health crisis due to acute malnutrition in Gaza. This comes amid growing warnings of a humanitarian catastrophe threatening the lives of civilians, including media workers.
In a press release issued Friday, the center stated that Shallah was transferred to a hospital in Gaza for treatment after his condition deteriorated as a result of extreme food shortages and chronic exhaustion, under a continuing blockade and the collapse of most essential services, including relief networks and food supply systems.
The center described Shallah’s situation as a painful example of the suffering of Palestinian journalists, who continue to work under inhumane conditions without adequate protection or support. It added that journalists in Gaza face an existential threat, whether from the risk of direct bombardment or slow death caused by hunger and disease.
Gaza is experiencing one of the worst humanitarian crises in its modern history, with rising famine and food insecurity. Reports from international organizations have increasingly documented deaths resulting from starvation or nutrition-related illnesses, particularly in the northern part of the Strip.
According to the World Food Programme, more than 90% of Gaza’s population faces severe food insecurity. Human rights organizations have warned that journalists, who are supposed to be protected under international law, are being abandoned to their fate in a harsh environment that threatens their survival.
The Geneva Conventions, particularly the First Additional Protocol of 1977, stress the obligation to protect civilian journalists during armed conflicts and consider targeting them or depriving them of basic necessities a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
In this context, the Palestinian Journalists Protection Center called for urgent action by international organizations, including the International Federation of Journalists, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), and Amnesty International, to ensure the protection of Palestinian journalists and provide them with basic life necessities, especially food and healthcare.
🚨 The IOF carried out an unprecedented, massive demolition operation targeting most of the destroyed city of Beit Hanoun in the northern #Gaza Strip. The sound of the explosion reached beyond al-Quds and Ramallah.
