gambling isnt worth it on my watch even if I win, that feeling of doing it again all the time will mess with your head real bad
its practically taking advantage of human psyche, even if you want to make a profit out of it, its mathematically proven that you will need infinite money (everytime you lose you must double the bet which grows exponentially and it can real big real quick) and so if you got infinite money why do you need to gamble in the first place?
theres even a "gamblers' fallacy" around the theme which dictates we humans want to believe theres a just system in the world and so in terms of coin tossing if we get 5 tails in row, we really want to believe the next one will be heads, but the neither the world is just, nor the coin remembers what was its last position, its still 50/50 and will be regardless of how many times you toss it
but thankfully some smart and curios gamblers lead to statistics and probability being coined, really neat branches if you're into them (like they're the backbone of modern AI systems)
