I am trying to build a good portfolio. I am doing my absolute best. ☹️

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:41

and that's difficult even without involving working in tech

Offtopic

No, please read again the whole conversation

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:39

So, you're saying I can find projects right here on Telegram?

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:38

you are not doing your best because you have no useful profile

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:37

I am doing my absolute best.☹️

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:36

So, where can I find work or get projects? This is really difficult.

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:35

Build a profile, meaning define the area you want to work and have relevant portfolio

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:35

So who would hire you if you just say that?

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:33

That's too vaguely described to be useful

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:25

I’ve worked in areas like the web, software, and things like that.

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:23

Where are you searching for? Do you have previous experience? A portfolio?

Offtopic

21 October 2026 20:45

What exactly you mean?

Offtopic

21 October 2026 20:40

How to get project dev ?

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:42

So what you done until now?

Offtopic

Life is hard as it is—now imagine living in Iran, too.

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:40

No, it’s not like that; I’m just looking to get through life.

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:39

yeah, as most of thing in life, what you expected? getting a llm and get tons of projects and earn a lot of money easy?

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:38

Things are really tough.

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:38

Hmm doesn't seem you are understanding

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:37

Build your owns, no one will give you projects if you don't have a proper profile

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:36

Also, remember is the worst time to be freelancer with the gen AI explosion

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:35

So, what should I do? What do you think?

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:34

Could you guide me on what to do?

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:32

Yeah no one will trust a freelancer with no portfolio or a well established career

Offtopic

21 October 2026 21:24

To be honest, I worked at a company for two years, so I do have work experience; however, I don’t currently have a portfolio. The competition on freelance platforms is extremely tough, and I haven’t managed to land any projects so far. I’m not sure how to connect with people who have projects, and I really don’t know what I should do.

Offtopic

21 October 2026 20:51

I’m looking for work—either project-based or remote—but I just can’t find anything. It’s not working out; I’m starting to get really tired of this.

Offtopic

21 October 2026 20:40

Who can help me for this ?

Any coding agent should be able to do that these days. Claude code, codex, kilo, etc. (Maybe except for copilot lol)

Ask it to use html/js for motion graphics or slides etc and a performant and expressive local tts. It'll figure things out on it's own.
