Do Palestinian patients transferred abroad receive adequate medical treatment?

Since October 2023, Israel waged one of the deadliest attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing over 50,810 people and injuring more than 115,688. Most of the injured civilians urgently required treatment abroad due to a severe shortage of medical supplies and the inability of hospitals to provide adequate care. This created an urgent need to allow thousands of injured civilians to receive treatment abroad.

Patients were transferred to hospitals in Qatar, Egypt, the UAE, and Turkey. The largest number were sent to Egypt, where they were distributed among government hospitals. However, Quds News Network received numerous complaints from patients and their companions in Egypt, reporting that several patients did not receive the necessary medical care and faced dire conditions.
