⭕ Israel has so far killed 39 Palestinians were killed and 62 others injured as a result of the Israeli attacks on Gaza during the last 24 hours.

According to the AFP news agency, hundreds of Palestinians who have been displaced by the Israeli army's attacks on the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank are sheltering at the Arab American University campus in the city of Jenin.
"Everyone knows that when the army enters, it destroys the infrastructure, even the cars," Mohammed Shalabi, the municipal worker said of the Israeli military offensive, which began in Jenin on January 21.
Shalabi said he has avoided "discussing all of this" with his 80-year-old father to protect his fragile health.
"But he understands and sometimes, he cries, because he lived through Nakba, and now this…," Shalabi explained, referring to the mass displacement of Palestinians in the war that accompanied Israel’s creation in 1948.

The Vatican has announced that Pope Francis passed away on Easter Monday at the age of 88, at his residence in the Vatican's Casa Santa Marta.
Yesterday, the Pope called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and access to humanitarian aid during his Easter message.
He also urged the international community to take action and come to the aid of a starving people longing for a future of peace.

Gazans have turned to hunting and cooking sea turtles to survive, as Israel's siege and border closures stretch beyond 50 days.
Abdel Halim Qannan, a fisherman for over 35 years, says he had never tasted turtle meat before as he always lived on fish.
Yet war changes everything. Hunger pushed him to recall stories from his indigenous ancestors who fled from Ashkelon during the Nakba, enduring a famine so harsh it led them to do the same: hunt sea turtles.
His wife, trying to bring some variation to the displacement table, cooks the turtle in different ways; sometimes pan-fried with onions and tomatoes, other times stewed with Maftool spices.
Only a few in Gaza can even catch these turtles, which are not that tasty. For the vast majority, their stomachs know nothing but the canned food.

A Palestinian was burned to death this afternoon when an Israeli airstrike pounded a displacement tent in the center of Gaza City.
The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) has called on the US to arrest and prosecute Israeli soldier Yuval Shatel for “war crimes” committed in Gaza during the ongoing Israeli genocide.
During his deployment in Gaza, he “took part in the deliberate destruction of civilian homes, schools, and places of worship—acts prohibited by both U.S. and international law.”
Palestinian detainee Nasser Khalil Radaida, aged 49, from the town of Al-Ubeidiya in Bethlehem, was pronounced dead yesterday at Israel's Hadassah Hospital as a result of torture and medical neglect he suffered in Ofer Prison.
The Israeli occupation continues to systematically implement a policy of slow killing and deliberate medical negligence against sick prisoners in its jails.
Nasser was arrested while injured on September 18, 2023. He is the second detainee to be announced dead in Israeli detention within four days.

Famine is worsening in Gaza as the Israeli blockade, which began on March 2, is the longest continuous restriction on aid into Gaza since Israel launched its war on Gaza.
The World Food Programme (WFP) has reiterated its call for an end to Israel’s blockade on aid into Gaza, saying Palestinians there “do not know where their next meal is coming from”.
In a post on X, it added that “Gaza needs food now” and urged “all parties to prioritize the needs of civilians, protect humanitarian workers and allow aid to enter Gaza immediately”.
Under the ongoing Israeli onslaught and crippling siege on the Gaza Strip, Palestinians are denied essential services—water, food, fuel, medicine, and safety—as humanitarian aid is blocked from entering the enclave, further worsening an already devastated and harsh reality.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated this morning that freeing the Israeli captives is not the most important goal of the ongoing war, in response to growing calls to prioritize their return above all else.
His remarks to Army Radio sparked outrage among captives' families, who said that they "have no words this morning except shame."
UNRWA has reiterated its call for a ceasefire, saying civilians are enduring “unimaginable suffering”, adding that the vast majority of the casualties in Gaza are children, women and ordinary men.
Since the war started, over 51,000 Gazans have been killed; 70% of the killed people are children and women. “Nothing can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people," it added.
QNN correspondent reports that the teams of the International Red Cross and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society came under Israeli gunfire this morning while they were on a humanitarian rescue mission north of Rafah.
The teams were en route to Khirbet Al-Adas village, where several civilians have been trapped amid the ongoing Israeli invasion of the area. Despite prior coordination with Israeli authorities to ensure safe passage, the convoy was targeted and ultimately prevented from reaching the area.
