A Palestinian woman identified her husband’s body by his ring after Israeli military forces returned several bodies of Palestinians who had been killed and withheld.

In the early hours of the morning, Israeli occupation forces raided the home of Palestinian Abdul-Majid Shadid in the town of Dura, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank . The young man was held inside his residence for several hours, during which soldiers assaulted him and caused extensive damage to the household’s belongings.
Local residents said that a large military unit surrounded the neighborhood before forcefully raiding the house, breaking down doors and overturning furniture as they searched the rooms. The operation left the home heavily damaged.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the soldiers physically abused Shadid and interrogated him on-site before eventually releasing him.
This raid aligns with a long-standing policy by the Israeli occupation, involving night raids, intimidation of civilians, home destruction, and arbitrary detentions used to exert pressure and maintain control.
