British physician and consultant pediatrician Dr. Ellen Cressels issued a public call for solidarity from pro-Palestine supporters, urging them to stand by her as she faces a targeted campaign by pro-Israel lobbies and smears from certain Jewish groups.

Efforts are underway to suspend her medical license in the UK as a means of punishing her for speaking out in support of Palestine.

Citing federal campaign records from Open Secrets, they noted that Congressman Frank Pallone received over $247,000 from pro-Israel political committees, raising questions about where political loyalties lie and whether government serves the public or its own interests.

A year has passed since the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Army Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the genocidal war in Gaza.

Two years have also passed since the International Court of Justice (ICJ) began hearing the genocide case brought against Israel, a case that has drawn global attention.

The ICC’s arrest warrants were hailed by several countries, some of which declared that if the war criminals entered their territory, they would be arrested. Yet, despite these declarations, there has been no tangible action, no enforcement, and no accountability for the countless lives lost due to relentless genocide.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defense, warns that winter has worsened the suffering in Gaza, with heavy rain flooding shattered homes and makeshift tents where displaced families are struggling to survive.

Many live in bombed-out neighborhoods with water pouring through broken roofs and flimsy shelters, while Israeli occupation authorities continue to block humanitarian aid.

According to OCHA, nearly 1.5 million Palestinians urgently need shelter and basic household supplies, and over 320,000 housing units have been damaged, leaving almost the entire population exposed to the harsh winter.

NEW | Malak Tantesh, former Guardian correspondent in Gaza, has been named Young Journalist of the Year at the UK Media Freedom Awards.

At just 20, Tantesh reported from Gaza for 18 months, covering the genocide’s impact while facing constant threats of bombing, starvation, and targeted attacks. Judges praised her “immense talent and bravery” in some of the most dangerous conditions ever faced by a journalist.

Her reporting documented the destruction of her family home and orchard in Beit Lahia, and the harrowing experiences of Gazans enduring two years of genocide. Tantesh thanked her family, colleagues, and the people of Gaza for their support, highlighting the resilience and courage that defined her work.

The Guardian’s editor-in-chief, Katharine Viner, called her reporting “brave, meticulous, and moving,” affirming that a brilliant journalistic future lies ahead for Tantesh.

NEW | The Guardian reports that the US is advancing a plan to permanently divide Gaza, creating a militarized “green zone” under Israeli–international control and a devastated “red zone” where most Palestinians remain trapped.

Leaked documents show Washington is preparing for a long-term situation of “not war, not peace,” entrenching Israeli control along the occupation’s “yellow line” instead of restoring Palestinian unity or full withdrawal.

The plan replaces earlier proposals for fenced “safe communities,” now abandoned without alternatives, while aid groups warn Gaza is being pushed toward permanent fragmentation.

With over 80% of the Strip destroyed and foreign governments refusing to send troops, the US proposal risks cementing a new form of occupation under the guise of stabilization and reconstruction.
