After being tested and refined in the genocide of Gaza, AI-powered drones are now used in U.S. cities to monitor civilians and protesters.

These military-designed drones can navigate without GPS, track individuals using facial recognition and thermal imaging, and upload data to cloud databases, raising serious privacy concerns.

Manufactured by Skydio, with ties to Israeli defense companies, the drones are deployed by over 800 U.S. law enforcement agencies to monitor protests and public events.

Two years after the genocide, Gaza’s once-fertile fields have turned into barren wastelands. They were not only ravaged by bombs, but by a siege that still blocks the entry of seeds and equipment.

Local organizations struggle to revive what remains, but toxic debris and restrictions on heavy machinery make the revival of agriculture nearly impossible.

Ismail Thawabta, director of the Gaza government media office, stated that since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, the occupation has committed 194 violations, including shelling, incursions, and preventing the entry of aid and medicine.

The army repeatedly crossed the “red line” stipulated in the agreement through incursions, gunfire, and shelling residential areas, resulting in civilian casualties and deaths.

The occupation prevented heavy machinery from entering to recover Palestinian bodies from under the rubble, allowing only equipment to search for bodies of Israeli captives.

The occupation deliberately violates the agreement, prolonging the humanitarian suffering in Gaza.

At Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, the morgue administration announced that no free graves are available for burying the victims due to existing cemeteries being full, despite the recent opening of approximately five new cemeteries.

The administration confirmed that these cemeteries had been repeatedly raided and dug up by Israeli occupation forces, further complicating efforts to secure burial sites for the deceased.

The morgue administration added: "We have reached a stage where we must apologize for the lack of free graves… not due to insufficient resources, but because of the sheer number of victims. People are dying faster than they can be buried."

Families of the victims are now forced to search for alternative burial sites and purchase graves themselves if available, highlighting the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

The International Committee to Protect Journalists expressed deep concern over the continued impunity surrounding the killing of journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh, noting that shortcomings in investigations reflect weaknesses in accountability mechanisms and the protection of journalists in conflict zones.

The committee emphasized that targeting journalists is part of an information war in conflict areas and warned that international silence or inconsistent responses to these crimes reinforce the perpetrators’ impunity.

The committee called for strengthening legal protections for journalists, recognizing attacks on them as war crimes, and implementing an effective international accountability system to prevent the recurrence of such violations.
