Reuters documents how torrential rain in Gaza City and Khan Younis flooded streets and swept through the fragile tents of displaced Palestinians.
In Khan Younis, many rushed to the city market seeking shelter from the downpour, while others were left stranded in flooded camps, enduring yet another layer of hardship on top of displacement and destruction.
An Israeli report published by The Marker cited a sharp rise in academic boycotts against its researchers and institutions, even after amid the fragile ceasefire in Gaza.
By November, over a thousand European universities had imposed full boycotts, and more academics were refusing collaboration. The trend has also reduced EU research grants for Israeli scholars, with 57% of cases targeting individuals, 22% universities, and 14% international programs.
The report cited that this could isolate Israeli higher education and damage its global standing.
Israeli forces killed Palestinian youths Amro Al-Marbu, 18, and Sami Al-Mashayekh, 16, in occupied Jerusalem, and Yunis Ashtayeh, 24, near Nablus.

Long serving Palestinian detainee Abbas Al-Sayyed was recently subjected to brutal physical abuse while being held in solitary confinement at the Israeli Megiddo prison, according to the Prisoners Media Office.
The office said the 59-year-old, who is serving multiple life sentences in prison, is being held in harsh and inhumane conditions, and that legal testimonies revealed clear signs of severe mistreatment, including visible bruising, blue marks, and extreme weight loss.
It added that Al-Sayyed was dragged in handcuffs in a degrading manner to the visitation room and was severely beaten by prison guards during court transfers, when taken out of isolation, and while held in waiting rooms.
