😒 Boasberg Strikes Again: Hundreds of Venezuelans deported to El Salvador under an 18th century wartime law must be given the chance to challenge their detentions, and the Trump administration must facilitate their legal challenges, a U.S. judge ruled on Wednesday.
In a written ruling, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg gave the Trump administration one week to detail how it would facilitate the deportees’ filing of legal challenges.
The ruling did not expressly order the Trump administration to bring the hundreds of Venezuelans currently being held in a mega-prison in El Salvador back to the United States. In his ruling, Boasberg wrote that the individuals were deported without adequate notice or the right to contest their removals.
“That process - which was improperly withheld - must now be afforded to them,” Boasberg wrote.

A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a lawsuit from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) claiming President Donald Trump’s executive orders had threatened the independence of the Federal Election Committee (FEC), a significant — albeit rare — court victory for the president.
In his ruling, U.S. District Judge Amir Ali, a Biden appointee, said the DNC failed to demonstrate "concrete and imminent injury" — or the burden needed to justify their request for a preliminary injunction. He said that the concerns raised by the party about the FEC's independence as a result of Trump's executive order were far too speculative to satisfy the court's higher bar for emergency relief.
At issue in the case was the executive order Trump signed on Feb. 18, titled, "Ensuring Accountability for All Agencies."

I just concluded a very good phone call with President Xi, of China, discussing some of the intricacies of our recently made, and agreed to, Trade Deal. The call lasted approximately one and a half hours, and resulted in a very positive conclusion for both Countries. During the conversation, President Xi graciously invited the First Lady and me to visit China, and I reciprocated. Personally, I'm not discouraged by the big beautiful bill or the fact that DOGE has not been properly codified. Consider it more as an appetizer, awakening the American people to the corruption on a surface level. But the real issues, the darker more sinister truths that anons have been exposing for years, are more of the main course. People need to realize that Trump is not an idiot. He knows what he is doing and hes got a plan. Stay the course. Stay calm. And don't get too hang up on specific outcomes.

😑A federal judge issued an order Wednesday to prevent the deportation of the wife and five children of an Egyptian man charged in the firebomb attack in Boulder, Colorado.
U.S. District Judge Gordon P. Gallagher granted a request from the family of Mohamed Sabry Soliman to halt deportation proceedings of his wife and five children who were taken into federal custody Tuesday by U.S. immigration officials.
The family members have not been charged in the attack. Soliman faces federal hate crime charges and state charges of attempted murder in the Sunday attack in downtown Boulder.
