NEWπ¨: Ghislaine Maxwell was moved from a Florida prison to a more comfortable one in Texas, according to a new report.
Jeffrey Epstein's associate was serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking in a Tallahassee prison but was moved toΒ the Federal Prison Camp Bryan in southeast Texas this week,Β The New York SunΒ reported.Β
Maxwell, 63, reportedly spent some time in a federal prison in Oakdale in LouisianaΒ before she was moved to Texas.Β
The disgraced British socialite will now be held in the same prison as Theranosscammer Elizabeth Holmes and former Real Housewife of Salt Lake City Jen Shah.Β Β
The transfer was handled by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, which was unusual, as transfers are usually led by the US Marshals Service.Β

The conservative legal group Judicial Watch on Thursday announced the Justice Department (DOJ) has agreed to settle a lawsuit from the group related to former President Joe Biden's interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur.
Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit for the audio recordings of his interview with Hur in March 2024, and the audio recordings were eventually leaked and released this past May.
The audio, which has been used as a basis for congressional probes since its release, appeared to support allegations that Biden's memory and mental acuity were not as strong as the White House and his administration attempted to portray.Β
Judicial Watch said the DOJ has agreed to pay $10,000 to settle the lawsuit, which will help cover attorney fees and other costs related to the civil litigation.Β

JUST INβοΈ: Prosecutors said they now expect music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs could face a prison sentence 'substantially higher' than the four to five years they once thought he was likely to face after his conviction on two prostitution-related charges.
They made the observation late Thursday in a Manhattan federal court written submission in which they also opposed Combs' request this week to be released on $50 million bail while he awaits an October 3 sentencing.
In early July, Combs, 55, was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges carrying potential life prison terms but was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution for arranging for girlfriends and male sex workers to travel to engage in sexual encounters that he filmed.
Each prostitution-related charge carries a potential maximum 10 years in prison.
Prosecutors said after the verdict that they thought federal sentencing guidelines meant to prevent wide disparities in sentencings for the same crimes would likely call for a prison term of four to five years. But they said Thursday they believe the guidelines range 'will be substantially higher,' raising the risk Combs will flee.
Judge Arun Subramanian will have wide latitude in determining a sentence and can choose to ignore the guidelines, which are not mandatory. Combs' lawyers have said they believe the guidelines, if properly calculated, will call for 21 to 27 months in prison.

The Trump administration has formally determined that the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the Hamas-linked humanitarian group, cannot be salvaged and must be disbanded, according to a non-public notification transmitted to Congress and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
The State Department "has not funded UNRWA since January 2024, does not have any ongoing programming with UNRWA, and is maintaining a policy of minimal contact with" the organization, according to the July 29 notice transmitted to Congress. "The Administration has determined UNRWA is irredeemably compromised and now seeks its full dismantlement."
The Trump administrationβs assessment indicates the United States has fully lost faith in UNRWA after months of revelations that at least a dozen agency employees participated in Hamasβs Oct. 7, 2023, massacres and worked alongside the terror group in Gaza. The move formally codifies the administration's position that UNRWA must be dismantled and starts the process of working toward that goal.
