The White House on Tuesday confirmed that President Donald Trump had directed Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to warn the Qatari government of an Israeli attack on its territory ahead of time and that he had done so.
"President Trump immediately directed Special Envoy Witkoff to inform the Qataris of the impending attack, which he did. The president views Qatar as a strong ally of the Untied States," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a press briefing. "She further stated that Trump felt 'very badly' about the location of the attack."

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R., N.Y.) introduced legislation Monday that seeks to codify President Donald Trump's executive order aimed at ending cashless bail nationwide by barring federal funds from going to cities and states that release violent offenders back onto the street without posting bail.
The two bills, one targeting Washington, D.C., and the other applying to the rest of the nation, serve as companions to legislation Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R., Tenn.) introduced in the Senate on Thursday.
Blackburn, in her own statement, said cashless bail has "empowered violent criminals across our country, putting the lives of law-abiding citizens at risk."

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard reportedly retracted intelligence on the Trump administrationβs dealings with the Venezuelan government.
Special envoy Richard Grenell was listed as a subject in the memo, which detailed in depth conversations with his counterparts overseas, according to The New York Times.
Grenell, who also oversees the Kennedy Center, reportedly negotiated with top officials in the regime of Venezuelan President NicolΓ‘s Maduro in an effort to secure benefits for American energy companies, The Time reported.
The Times said the report was ultimately retracted to protect Grenell, which is frequently done to preserve the identity of Americans in intelligence reports.
Grenellβs conversations, documented by the spy agency, were steered toward formulating an agreement that would have boosted Chevronβs oil operations in Venezuela, which in part serves as a large funding source for the government, per the Times. The agreement would have been in exchange for hostages.

βI can affirm that is not true,β Leavitt said in response to a question about Johnsonβs comments. βI think the Speaker was referring to the fact that President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago property for reasons the president has already discussed.β

NEWπ₯: A top aide and confidante to former Obama official Lois Lerner who targeted conservatives and conservative groups was fired by the Internal Revenue Service, Fox News Digital has learned.
Sources told Fox News Digital that Holly Paz, who served as the IRS Commissioner of Large Business and International Division, was terminated Monday.
Paz was placed on administrative leave last month and was subsequently fired following an internal review, sources say.
Paz had served as Lernerβs deputy during the Obama administration.

'Today, we're suspending our remodels. If your restaurant hasn't been remodeled, you don't need to worry, it won't be.'
Since 2024, Cracker Barrel has been attempting to modernize its image. The company, led by former Taco Bell leader Julie Felss Masino, was attempting to reboot its image with a $700 million makeover.
It needed a change, and fast. At the time, the company was closing stores, largely attracting older customers, and β in the CEO's words β becoming less 'relevant.'
