The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Tuesday released video footage of another American strike on an alleged drug ship that was trying to bring cocaine into the United States, stating the incident occurred over the weekend.
The Coast Guard (USCG) conducted the strike as part of Operation Pacific Viper, which is a partnership between the Coast Guard and the Navy, designed to send forces to cut off drugs and human smuggling operations in the Eastern Pacific before the operations reach the United States.
"Over the weekend, as part of Operation Pacific Viper, the [Coast Guard] Cutter Stone conducted three interdictions in a single nightβseizing nearly 13,000 pounds of cocaine and apprehending seven suspected drug smugglers," DHS posted on X.
It was not immediately clear where the latest ships were from, but it comes after the Trump administration decimated a Venezuelan drug boat last week, which killed 11 alleged "terrorists."

The White House on Tuesday confirmed that President Donald Trump had directed Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to warn the Qatari government of an Israeli attack on its territory ahead of time and that he had done so.
"President Trump immediately directed Special Envoy Witkoff to inform the Qataris of the impending attack, which he did. The president views Qatar as a strong ally of the Untied States," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a press briefing. "She further stated that Trump felt 'very badly' about the location of the attack."

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard reportedly retracted intelligence on the Trump administrationβs dealings with the Venezuelan government.
Special envoy Richard Grenell was listed as a subject in the memo, which detailed in depth conversations with his counterparts overseas, according to The New York Times.
Grenell, who also oversees the Kennedy Center, reportedly negotiated with top officials in the regime of Venezuelan President NicolΓ‘s Maduro in an effort to secure benefits for American energy companies, The Time reported.
The Times said the report was ultimately retracted to protect Grenell, which is frequently done to preserve the identity of Americans in intelligence reports.
Grenellβs conversations, documented by the spy agency, were steered toward formulating an agreement that would have boosted Chevronβs oil operations in Venezuela, which in part serves as a large funding source for the government, per the Times. The agreement would have been in exchange for hostages.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio reportedly opposed the deal and opted for a militaristic approach to the Maduro regime.

βI can affirm that is not true,β Leavitt said in response to a question about Johnsonβs comments. βI think the Speaker was referring to the fact that President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago property for reasons the president has already discussed.β

Sources told Fox News Digital that Holly Paz, who served as the IRS Commissioner of Large Business and International Division, was terminated Monday.
Paz was placed on administrative leave last month and was subsequently fired following an internal review, sources say.
Paz had served as Lernerβs deputy during the Obama administration.
