Without Stablecoins and other tokens on the xrpl there is nothing for xrp to interoperate between
Stablecoins are on and off ramps
If money is crossing borders xrp facilitates that use case
Intra-country payments don’t need interoperability because the stablecoin is the same
I won’t go in to other use cases, but information about smart contracts etc is readily available
