"What did you see in Japan, and is there any chance of India following in the
progressive steps of Japan?"
"None whatever, until all the three hundred millions of India combine together
as a whole nation. The world has never seen such a patriotic and artistic race as
the Japanese, and one special feature about them is this that while in Europe and
elsewhere Art generally goes with dirt, Japanese Art is Art plus absolute
cleanliness. I would wish that every one of our young men could visit Japan
once at least in his lifetime. It is very easy to go there. The Japanese think that
everything Hindu is great and believe that India is a holy land. Japanese
Buddhism is entirely different from what you see in Ceylon. It is the same as
Vedanta. It is positive and theistic Buddhism, not the negative atheistic
Buddhism of Ceylon.

Swami Vivekananda
The Buddha came from a royal family in India some twenty-five hundred years ago. He was a prince, named Siddhartha Gautama. He had a very good situation. In the palace he had everything he wanted: good food, good clothes, many beautiful women, a high seat, and a very good position. He was the son of the king, and someday he would inherit a powerful kingdom. That’s very wonderful! But inside, Siddhartha was very unhappy, because he could not understand who he was. He could not understand life or death. He was deeply saddened that all beings must eventually get sick, grow old, and die. This gave him a big question about his own nature and the nature of all beings. “What am I? I don’t know. . . .” At that time in India, the Brahman religion of Hinduism was followed by nearly everyone. But Brahmanism could not give the young prince the correct answer to his burning question. So he was even more unhappy. “Why do human beings come into this world? Why do we eat every day? What am I?” He ate food, but there was no taste. Heard music, but it gave him no pleasure. The beautiful palace became like a prison.
One night, Siddhartha left the palace. He left his family, his beautiful wife, and his infant child, cut off all his hair, and became a monk. Then he went to the mountains. For six years he practiced very, very hard. “What am I? Don’t know . . .” He courageously kept this question with one-pointed determination.
Then one morning, while sitting in meditation under the Bodhi tree, he saw the morning star in the eastern sky. At that moment—BOOM!—Siddhartha and this star completely became one. He realized his true substance. He realized that his mind was the universe—infinite in time and space—and the whole universe was nothing other than his own mind. He realized there is no life and no death. Nothing ever comes or goes. We say that he woke up and attained his true nature. He completely attained human consciousness: he saw that when ignorance appears, mind appears. When mind appears, desire appears.
When any kind of desire appears, life and death, coming and going, happiness and sadness all appear. By completely keeping a don’t-know mind one hundred percent—only go straight, don’t know—the Buddha saw how to completely stop this endless cycle. He attained complete liberation from the eternal round of birth and death in which all beings trap themselves. He completely attained his correct way, he attained truth, and he attained the correct kind of life he should lead. The name for that is enlightenment.

Day 3 – Compassion & Loving-Kindness
Theme: Expanding the heart.
Practice:
Loving-Kindness Meditation (Day 3)Reflection: “What happens when I send love to myself and others?” Читать полностью…
1) Settle in:
Sit comfortably with your back upright and relaxed. Close your eyes if you wish. Take a few slow breaths. Let your body soften and your attention settle.
2) Start with yourself:
Bring gentle awareness to yourself. You don’t have to feel love perfectly; just set the intention. Silently repeat:
“May I be safe.”
“May I be healthy.”
“May I be peaceful.”
“May I live with ease.”
You can breathe gently after each phrase, imagining these wishes filling your body and heart.
3) Extend to a loved one:
Bring to mind someone you care about—a friend, family member, or even a pet. See them in your mind’s eye and silently offer:
“May you be safe.”
“May you be healthy.”
“May you be peaceful.”
“May you live with ease.”
Allow warmth or kindness to grow naturally, even if just a little.
4) Expand to neutral people:
Think of someone you don’t know well (like a neighbor, a shopkeeper, a stranger). Wish them the same:
“May you be safe. May you be healthy. May you be peaceful. May you live with ease.”
This helps open your heart beyond just those close to you.
5) Include all beings:
Finally, expand this wish outward in all directions—to everyone, everywhere:
“May all beings be safe. May all beings be healthy. May all beings be peaceful. May all beings live with ease.”
You might imagine these wishes radiating out like ripples from your heart.
6) Rest briefly in silence:
Take a few quiet breaths, noticing any sense of calm or warmth. Even if it feels small, appreciate that you’ve planted a seed of compassion.
7) Close gently:
Open your eyes and carry this intention into your day.
🌿 7-Day Spiritual Evolution Program
Day 1 – Awareness of Breath
Theme: Centering in the present moment.
Practice:
🌬️ Guided Breath Meditation (5–7 minutes)
1. Find Your Seat
Sit comfortably with your back straight but relaxed. Rest your hands on your lap or knees. Gently close your eyes.
2. Settle In
Take a deep breath in through your nose… and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Let your body soften. Allow your shoulders, jaw, and belly to relax.
3. Natural Breathing
Now, let your breath flow naturally. Don’t force it.
Simply notice the inhale… and notice the exhale.
Feel the cool air entering your nostrils… and the warm air leaving.
4. Gentle Focus
If your mind wanders, gently bring it back to the breath.
Use a soft inner phrase, like:
“Breathing in, I know I am breathing in.”
“Breathing out, I know I am breathing out.”
5. Deepening Presence
Begin to count your breaths:
Inhale… (1), exhale… (2).
Continue up to 10, then return to 1.
If you lose count, simply start again without judgment.
6. Expanding Awareness
With each breath, feel your body becoming lighter, your mind quieter.
Imagine each exhale carrying away tension and worries.
Each inhale brings peace, clarity, and calm.
7. Closing
Take three slow, deep breaths.
When ready, gently open your eyes, bringing this calm awareness with you into your day.

Remember one thing. The centre core of your existence is all positivity. All imperfection is only on the circumference. So deep inside you are pure, you are innocent, you are beautiful, and you must have total conviction in this. That is it. I am totally pure a hundred per cent, two hundred per cent positive. Deep inside you are simply a most adorable, most lovable person. You should have zero doubt about it. And whatever imperfections you may find in yourself or in others are only on the circumference. This conviction is most important in spiritual growth. Otherwise, someone blames you, you take the blame and then you burn with it. When you have this conviction, if anybody says anything to you, you will not care and will simply smile at him. You will not be an emotional wreck any time, because you are so solid and well founded in the self. And that is what the whole spiritual exercise is! Shudhohum, budhohum – You are pure, crystal-clear and solid. That conviction makes you rest so peacefully. If you are made by Nature, you are perfect. Everything in Nature is perfect. There is one school of thought which says find imperfection. Another school of thought is to move from perfection to greater perfection. That is what we understand. Praising each other and praising oneself, uplift the spirit all the time. Give criticism and stand up to criticism. If someone criticizes you, welcome that, knowing too well that whatever is the criticism is part of his perception or your projection. Imperfection is nothing but a projection or perception. From your side you have projected like that to the other person or that person has perceived you like that. Imperfection is nothing but your inability to project the way you are to others or the perception of other person towards you. That’s it. Got it? All these practices you do are to get to this stage – Improving perception, observation and expression. And that is it. It can never be a hundred per cent. It is relative, this is the thing. There can always be a chance for improvement in perception and expression. But there is no chance for any improvement in the being.

One day, a yogi and his disciple arrived in the big city. They had no money with them, but they needed food and a place to stay. The disciple was sure that they were going to beg for their food, and sleep in the park at night.
"There is a big park not far from here. We can sleep there at night", said the disciple.
"In the open air?" Asked the yogi.
"Yes", responded the student.
The yogi smiled and said: "No, tonight we are going to sleep in a hotel and eat there too".
The student was amazed and exclaimed, "We cannot afford that!"
"Come and sit down", said the yogi.
They both sat down on the ground, and the yogi said:
"When you focus your mind intently on any subject, it comes to pass."
The yogi closed his eyes and started to meditate with full concentration. After about ten minutes he got up and started to walk, with his disciple following him. They walked through several streets and alleys, until they arrived at a hotel.
"Come, let's enter inside", the yogi said to his disciple.
They just set foot in the entrance, when a well-dressed man approached them.
"I am the manager of this hotel. You look like traveling swamis, and I believe you have no money. Would you like to work in the kitchen, and in return I'll give you food and a place to stay?"
"Fine", the yogi responded.
The disciple was perplexed and asked the yogi: "Did you use any magic? How did you do that?"
The yogi smiled and said, "I wanted to show you how the power of thoughts works. When you think with full and strong concentration about something that you want to happen, and your mind does not resist the subject of your thought, your thought materializes."
"The secret is concentrating, visualizing, seeing details, having faith and projecting mental and emotional energy into the mental scene. These are the general prerequisites. When your mind is empty from thoughts, and only one single thought is allowed to enter, it gains a very great power. One should be very careful with what he thinks. A concentrated thought is powerful, and exerts a very strong influence."
The disciple looked at his teacher and said: "I see that I have to sharpen my concentration in order to be able to use this power."
"Yes, this is the first step", the yogi replied.

In this ever-shifting world, remember you are more than the roles you play, more than the body you inhabit, more than the emotions that visit you. Beneath the changing waves of pleasure and pain, gain and loss, victory and defeat, there is a deeper current — your true Self, ever-present and unchanging, like the ocean underlying the restless surf. Know this Self to be pure, whole, and free, untouched by the passing drama of life. Practice seeing the difference between what is temporary and what is eternal. Train the mind to stand steady in the face of circumstances, like a lamp in a windless place. Perform your duties skillfully, dedicating their fruits to a higher purpose, without becoming entangled in the results. This karma yoga frees you from bondage. Cultivate compassion, honesty, and courage. Honor your dharma, the righteous path unique to you, but hold it lightly, knowing that you are ultimately not the doer but the witness of all action. Reflect each day on the truth of non-duality taught by Shankara: that you and Brahman are not separate, but one, indivisible, infinite. Fear and desire dissolve when you realize there is no other, that the entire universe is your own Self appearing in countless forms. Yet while living in this body, respect all beings, for they, too, are divine. Worship the Divine within and around you, whether you call it God, Truth, or pure Consciousness. Develop the inner discipline to quiet your restless thoughts, for in that stillness the Self shines forth like the sun behind a passing cloud. Seek spiritual companionship, wise guides, and sacred texts, but ultimately turn inward — for there alone you will discover the boundless peace you long for. Life will change, people will come and go, but the Self remains. Rest in that unshakable knowing, and act in the world with a mind free of hatred and attachment. Then your days will be serene, your nights peaceful, and your heart fearless, anchored in the bliss of your own true nature.

Not only can we not comprehend the Lord, we cannot even comprehend his handiwork. He is Aprameya, “that which cannot be measured,” cannot be grasped, cannot even be imagined. Mystics compare God to an ocean that cannot be fathomed, but Shankara, the towering mystic of the eighth century who reawakened India to its spiritual heritage, reminds us that even to compare him with something is to limit what is limitless. Words and thought, trying to approach him, turn back frightened at the frontier of what can be conceived.
The Hindu tradition has a genius for conveying these profound truths through deceptively simple stories. Many episodes in the life of the boy Krishna remind us that although he seems like any other boy, playing with his friends and getting into trouble now and then, there is another dimension which is revealed in the twinkling of an eye when the veil of maya, the illusion of separateness, is pulled back for a moment.
One day little Krishna decides to steal freshly-made butter from his mother’s kitchen and distribute it to his friends. When Yashoda walks in and sees Krishna handing out her butter and yogurt to his gang, including the village monkeys, she decides it is time for drastic measures. Krishna is so lovable that he always manages to sweet-talk himself out of disciplinary action. This time he is not going to get away with it. She is going to tie him up until he promises to behave himself.
Yashoda finds a piece of cord and starts to wrap it around her divine imp. But the ends of the cord will not reach. She gets a longer piece of rope, ties it to the first, and tries again. Still it isn’t long enough. And all the time Krishna just sits there, trying his best to look contrite but barely able to suppress a grin.
Yashoda brings yet another rope, this time long enough to tie up a cow. Still Krishna remains free because the rope is not long enough. No rope can ever tie him because he is immeasurable. Finally he takes pity on the long-suffering Yashoda and allows himself to be tied up. The infinite Lord can be tied by love; nothing but devotion can secure him.
Yashoda has tied him to the mortar she was using to churn curds. Krishna, needless to say, is not without resources, and he soon manages to get out of this embarrassing position. He sees two trees growing nearby and drags the mortar between them. Such is his strength that both trees come down with a crash, bringing the whole village out to see what the noise is. As it turns out, two spirits had been imprisoned in these trees, and Krishna’s escape has released them. Praising his compassion, they fly off to the heavens.
Seeing this miracle, Yashoda and all the villagers marvel at the divine nature of the child they had taken for merely human. Then Krishna deludes them with his maya once again, appearing before them as any ordinary child. But Yashoda has forgotten why she ever was angry with him.

In a large temple north of Thailand’s ancient capital, Sukotai, there once stood an enormous and ancient clay Buddha. Though not the most handsome or refined work of Thai Buddhist art, it had been cared for over a period of five hundred years and become revered for its sheer longevity. Violent storms, changes of government, and invading armies had come and gone, but the Buddha endured.
At one point, however, the monks who tended the temple noticed that the statue had begun to crack and would soon be in need of repair and repainting. After a stretch of particularly hot, dry weather, one of the cracks became so wide that a curious monk took his flashlight and peered inside. What shone back at him was a flash of brilliant gold! Inside this plain old statue, the temple residents discovered one of the largest and most luminous gold images of Buddha ever created in Southeast Asia. Now uncovered, the golden Buddha draws throngs of devoted pilgrims from all over Thailand.
The monks believe that this shining work of art had been covered in plaster and clay to protect it during times of conflict and unrest. In much the same way, each of us has encountered threatening situations that lead us to cover our innate nobility. Just as the people of Sukotai had forgotten about the golden Buddha, we too have forgotten our essential nature. Much of the time we operate from the protective layer. The primary aim of Buddhist psychology is to help us see beneath this armoring and bring out our original goodness, called our Buddha nature.
This is a first principle of Buddhist psychology:
Jack Kornfield
“There’s something magical about the Himalayas. It’s not just the snow-clad peaks or the thunderous silence of high altitudes — it’s the way the mountains strip you of ego. Of identity. Of stories.
On the very first night in my cave, I sat cross-legged, wrapped in three layers of wool, the temperature already subzero. I had no distractions. No books. No phone. No mirror. And in that vast absence, something unexpected came alive — presence.
The kind that watches every breath with reverence.
The kind that listens to the cracking of ice as if the mountain itself is breathing.
I had imagined I would feel enlightened within days. Instead, I met my restlessness. My hunger. My irritation. The ache in my back. The past traumas I thought I had left behind. All of it rose like mist, and all I could do was witness.
Meditation is not escape — it is confrontation.
You don’t meet God by running from your pain. You meet God by walking straight into it, bare-souled, until your tears melt into prayer.
And then, one evening, as I lit the oil lamp and sat down to chant, I felt something loosen — not in the world, but within me. A tight knot of craving dissolved.
In that silence, there was no need to become anything.
I already was.”
Om Swami

ASKING FOR HELP
When you suffer, you may want to go to your room, lock the door, and cry. The person who hurt you is the last person you want to see. Even if he tries to approach you, you may still be very angry. But to get relief, you have to go to the person you love, the one who just hurt you very deeply, and ask for help. Become yourself one hundred percent. Open your mouth and say with all your heart and with all your concentration that you suffer and you need help.
Thich Nhat Hanh
Ajahn Chah
We’re born and then we age; we age and then we get sick and die. It’s so normal. But we don’t like it. It’s as if we wanted the breath to come in and not go out; or to go out and not come in. When it comes in and out, out and in, we can live. Human beings and animals have been living right up to the present because fabrications follow their duty in line with their conditions. That’s their truth.

Day 4 – Self-Inquiry
Theme: Knowing yourself beyond roles and labels.
Practice: Self-Inquiry: “Who am I beyond my thoughts?”
1) Prepare the Space
Sit quietly in a calm place where you won’t be disturbed for 10–15 minutes.
Take 3 slow, deep breaths to settle your mind.
---
2) Inquiry Practice (Ask & Observe)
Gently ask yourself:
“Who am I, really?”
“Am I my body? My thoughts? My emotions? Or the one who is aware of them?”
“When thoughts come and go, what remains?”
Don’t try to “think” of an answer. Just notice. Let the questions point you toward the silent awareness observing everything.
---
3) Watch Your Mind
Notice any labels that come up (“I’m a parent,” “I’m sad,” “I’m successful”).
Ask: “But who is aware of that label?”
Rest in that awareness.
Even for a few seconds, notice that there’s a you who watches thoughts and feelings come and go, yet remains.
---
4) Journaling Reflection (5 minutes)
After sitting, write down what you observed:
What did I discover about myself beyond my roles?
What thoughts or feelings kept coming back?
Did I notice a sense of space, stillness, or awareness?
---
5) Optional Practice Phrase
During the day, silently repeat whenever you feel stressed:
> “I am not my thoughts; I am the awareness behind them.”
This helps you anchor the insight beyond the meditation session.
Day 2 – Gratitude & Abundance
Theme: Shifting focus from lack to wholeness.
Practice:Here’s a Gratitude List of 10 things you can reflect on today 🌸
1. Breath of Life – Grateful for the simple act of
breathing that sustains me each moment.
2. Health – Even if not perfect, my body allows me to move, think, and experience life.
3. Family & Loved Ones – Those who give me love, care, and a sense of belonging.
4. Friendship & Support – The people who stand by me and bring joy to my journey.
5. Food & Water – The nourishment that keeps me alive and well.
6. Nature – The sky, trees, rivers, and earth that remind me of beauty and balance.
7. Knowledge & Learning – The ability to grow, learn, and understand deeper truths.
8. Shelter & Safety – A place to rest, feel secure, and call home.
9. Spiritual Path – The opportunity to seek truth, peace, and inner growth.
10. This Moment – The gift of being alive here and now.
Perhaps the greatest contribution of the Upanishads is to open our eyes to what it really means to be a human being. The constant concern of the sages is to reawaken us to the sacred nature of the environment, of living creatures, of one another, and finally of our own inner reality. This exalted vision of the human person has been echoed by the anonymous monk of fourteenth-century England who has left us one of the world’s greatest mystical documents, the Cloud of Unknowing:
Beneath you and external to you lies the entire created universe. Yes, even the sun, the moon, and the stars. They are fixed above you, splendid in the firmament, yet they cannot be compared to your exalted dignity as a human being. . . . There is nothing above you in nature except God himself.
What is nonphysical reality?
Nonphysical reality is your home. You came from non physical reality, you will return to nonphysical reality, and the larger part of you currently resides in, and evolves in, nonphysical reality. The same is true for each of the billions that lions of human beings upon this planet. Therefore, the majority of your interactions with other human beings occur in nonphysical reality. For example, when you think loving thoughts of someone who is close to you emotionally, such as a family member, you shift the quality of your consciousness, and this contributes to his or her energy system.
If a daughter who harbors resentment toward her father, for example, evolves into a deeper understanding of her relationship with him, such as an understanding of the karmic role that he has played in activating within her a major lesson of love or responsibility, and if her intention to heal herself and her relationship with her father is deep and clear, do not think, even for an instant, that her father is not aware of this, even if she does not speak to him. He is not aware consciously, but his whole being feels what she is doing. His conscious mind may feel it through sudden moments of sentimentalism about things that he had not thought about before, or he may suddenly look at pictures of his daughter as a young child and feel a pull in his heart even though he is not consciously aware of why he is feeling what he is feeling or doing what he is doing.
You participate in this form of data bank exchange, so to speak, with all the souls that you are close to, and, to some extent, with all the souls that touch your life. As you shift your data bank content and the information that you send to a soul, it is processed through his or her own Adak system. It is at that level that the cause and effect of your intentions, the way that you choose to shape your energy influences others.

Smiling
This is a smiling meditation. While you are sitting and radiating love to your spiritual friend or to yourself, smile with your mind. Even though your eyes are closed during the meditation, smile with your eyes. This helps to let go of tension in your face. Put a little smile on your lips and put a smile in your heart. Smiling is nice and most helpful to practice all of the time, but especially when you are sitting in meditation. The more we can learn to smile the happier mind becomes.
It may sound a little hokey, but scientists have discovered that the corners of our mouth are very important. The position of the lips corresponds to different mental states. When the corners of your lips turn down, your thoughts tend to become heavy and unwholesome. When the corners of your lips go up, mind becomes more uplifted and clear so that joy can arise more often.
This is important to remember because a smile can help you to change your perspective about all kinds of feelings and thoughts. So try to remember to smile into everything that arises and everything that you direct your mind’s attention to. In other words, smile as much as you can into everything.

Practicing what one shouldn’t,
Not practicing what one should,
Having abandoned the goal,
Clinging to what is dear,
One comes to envy those who practice.
Don’t get entangled
With what you long for or dislike.
Not seeing what you long for is suffering;
So also is seeing what you dislike.
Therefore, do not turn anything
Into something longed for,
For then it’s dreadful to lose.
Without longing or dislike,
No bonds exist.
Longing gives rise to grief;
Longing gives rise to fear.
For someone released from longing
There is no grief;
And from where would come fear?
Affection gives rise to grief;
Affection gives rise to fear.
For someone released from affection
There is no grief;
And from where would come fear?
Infatuation gives rise to grief;
Infatuation gives rise to fear.
For someone released from infatuation
There is no grief;
And from where would come fear?
Sensual craving gives rise to grief;
Sensual craving gives rise to fear.
For someone released from sensual craving
There is no grief;
And from where would come fear?
Craving gives rise to grief;
Craving gives rise to fear.
For someone released from craving
There is no grief;
And from where would come fear?
People hold dear those
Who have done their own work,
Complete in virtue and vision,
Established in the Dhamma,
And who speak the truth.

"This is the ancient land where wisdom made its home before it went to any other country. This is the same India whose soil has been trodden by the greatest sages that ever lived. Here first sprung up enquires into the true nature of man & the science of the immortal soul. It is here that the highest ideals of spirituality and philosophy have attained their culminating points. This is the land from where the highest knowledge, like tidal waves has again & again deluged the world, and from here once more such tides must proceed in order to bring life & vigour into the decaying races of mankind. It is the same India which has withstood the shocks of the centuries, of multiple attempts at foreign invasion, of multiple upheavals of manners and customs. It stands firmer than any rock in the world, with its strength rooted in the Hindu Scriptures. This land has a ‘chetan shakti’, an indestructible life principle of the same nature of the soul, and we the children of this country."

~ Many people are victims of alien influences and are unaware that their health and life problems have arisen because of them, that’s because it’s difficult to accept such a revelation; it’s much easier to think that our problems arise on their own, out of nowhere. Acknowledging the negative influence that some presences bring to our lives means that we have a chance to push them away and make sure that they will no longer affect us. (...)
In this book I will devote myself to the explanation of the subject of Aliens by starting from the absolute basics, in order to ease the understanding of all those people who have never heard of aliens or have never inquired about this topic because of fear, little interest, distrust or scepticism. Immediately after I will have concluded with the basics, we will move on to the following explanations, which will fulfil any doubt of all the people who have spent their lives studying and searching for answers about the alien presence and their method of operation but have never found anyone who has had real experiences that could confirm their hypotheses. (...)
In addition, I will explain how I came to gather certain information about aliens and the methods I used to protect myself from them. (...)
This is a true Psychic Handbook, written to be within the reach of all those who are serious about defending their freedom, their privacy, their personal decisions and their lives. This is a practical book, not a theoretical one! You will learn mental and psychic defense techniques, which no one has ever taught you before, in order to face any dangerous situation without the slightest fear. ~

🌿 Zen Insight: The Sound of One Hand Clapping 🌿
> “What is the sound of one hand clapping?”
– A classic Zen koan
Zen does not aim to answer this question—it invites you to experience it.
The mind tries to solve it logically, but Zen nudges you beyond logic.
It is not about arriving at an answer.
It’s about dissolving the questioner.
In the silence between your thoughts,
In the space where questions vanish,
You glimpse the truth.
Let the koan echo within you,
Not for understanding—
But for awakening.
🪷 Sit. Breathe. Listen.
You may not hear a sound,
But you may hear yourself.
