I have always believed that Stakedao was a successful agreement, so I placed all of my assets in VSDCRV/CVV/ASDCRV. I really didn't expect such a thing to happen, and I feel very sad. Vyper steps into the light, PegKeepers pump volume
🛠️ banteg shipped vyupgrade, a tool that automatically rewrites old Vyper contracts into modern syntax and then proves the rewrite is safe: it compiles the code under both versions and diffs the ABI, method ids and storage layout. It covers every syntax change since 0.2.1. For an ecosystem like Curve, where almost everything is written in Vyper, that is no small thing.
🚀 Right on cue, Vitalik Buterin publicly urged developers to take another look at Vyper: "Vyper devs continue doing impressive things." 56k views. The language Curve runs on is having a moment.
🧠 In parallel, Curve's PegKeepers are surging. frxUSD PegKeeper pools crossed $1 billion in trading volume. Michael Egorov explained why the mechanism beats classic PSM modules that pin a stablecoin hard at $1: a PegKeeper does not need that, it tops up and pulls liquidity based on the pool's imbalance.
🐳 And demand followed: Stake DAO now lets you post PegKeeper LP tokens (crvUSD/frxUSD and others) as collateral on Morpho while keeping the CRV boost, and a fresh DUSD/frxUSD pool just went live on Curve. A quiet but dense week for stablecoin infrastructure.
