🐶🐶The Old Man with The Two Black Dogs:
Long time back, ours was a happy and prosperous family. We were three brothers who loved each other very much. In due time, our old father became very ill. He left for heaven and willed each of us a thousand gold dinars. We were clever so we invested in various shops and soon became well-to-do merchants.
One day my eldest brother had the idea of expanding his trade connections in other kingdoms. He decided to travel to other lands across the sea for this purpose. He then sold all his shops, luxury items and the house to get some money. For buying a variety of goods, he set sail in a beautiful trade ship. Nearly a year went by, but we heard nothing from him.
One afternoon, as I sat fanning myself at the shop, a beggar approached me. He was looking very weak. He was barely covered in tattered clothes. I picked a silver coin from my pocket and gave it to him. Seeing this, the poor beggar burst out in tears.
"Oh! What fate!" he cried bitterly. "A brother is giving another alms in pity."
I gave him a second look. Suddenly I recognised him to be my eldest brother. I consoled him and took him home. After a warm bath and some delicious hot lunch, my brother told me his sad tale. He said that he could not earn as much as he had invested in his new ventures. The heavy losses had made him poor and he had reached back home with great difficulty. I had by then earned two thousand gold dinars in my business so I gave one thousand gold dinars to my eldest brother. I encouraged him to start a new business.
Some months later, my second brother decided to seek foreign lands to expand his business. I narrated our eldest brother's example to him but he insisted on going for trading overseas. He soon joined a caravan that was ready to leave for a foreign land. He, too, went with many hopes and a lot of goods. For a year, I heard no news of his business ventures. When a year went by, one fine morning he arrived at my doorstep much in the same state as my elder brother. He told me that his caravan had been looted by bandits and he lost everything.
Once again I lent my thousand dinars to my other brother too. He was happy to begin his business again. Soon both my brothers did well in their ventures and prospered. We lived happily and together again.
One fine morning, both my brothers came to me and said, "Brother, all three of us must go on a long journey to expand our business. We'll trade together and amass wealth."
I refused because I had seen my brothers becoming penniless after such adventurous business trips. But they persisted. After refusing their request for nearly five years, I gave in. After making necessary arrangements, the three of us bought grand goods to sell. My brothers spent all their money to buy the goods. I, thus, took six thousand dinars that I had and gave them a thousand dinars each. I kept one thousand dinars for my use. Then I dug a safe hole in my house and buried the three thousand dinars that I was left with. Then we loaded the goods on a large ship and set sail.
Nearly two months after sailing, we anchored at a port. We made a lot of money by trading there. When we got ready to leave, a beautiful but poor woman approached me. She bowed to me and kissed my hand. Then she said, "Sir, please be kind enough to accept me as your wife. I have nobody to care for me and nowhere to stay."
I was taken aback. I said, "Dear woman, I don't even know you. How can you expect me to marry a stranger?"
The woman pleaded tearfully and persuaded me to take her as my wife. She promised to be loyal and loving and soon we were married after the required arrangements were made.
As we set sail, she took on the role of a caring wife. She was soft-spoken, hard working and always ready to serve me or help my brothers. I was very happy to have her as a wife. My happiness was not favoured by my brothers who grew jealous day by day. Their resentment took shape of a plot to kill me and my wife.
🐒👑The Monkey Advisor:
Long ago there lived a poet. He always searched a calm place for composing new poems. One day he went to a forest nearby to find a calm place. At one place he thought, "It is the best place for me to write poems." The place was quiet and surrounded by trees full of flowers. So he sat there and began to think.
When he was trying to write a poem there entered an evil sprit with anger. The place was very calm. So the sudden entrance of the devil made him frightened. The devil asked the poet. “Eyee....! Who are you?"
In a fierce voice. The poet was stunned for a while on hearing the voice. The face was so ugly that he was afraid to look at the face. When the devil opened his mouth, fire came out and his eyes seemed to be balls of fire. The poet was so frightened that his tongue stammered .
A little later again the devil spoke, “How dare you enter our place" on hearing the roaring of the devil the poet said “I am am an innocent poet, I want to write poem in a lonely and calm place. So I came here. I didn’t know that this place was yours. I don’t have any bad aim “If you give me a little time, I will quit the place".
But the bad devil was not ready to hear his voice and began to curse him, “I won’t excuse you. You made a big mistake. You should be punished for that. So you will turn into a monkey from now."
All of a sudden the poet become a monkey, grey in color. The devil saw the monkey poet and said, "Oh! Ha! You shall be like this for many years."
Then he left the place. The monkey poet cried and cried for a while. But he could not do anything except weeping. As he got hungry he began to eat the fruits and nuts and sleep on the trees like real monkeys. He could not talk and write poems as he did earlier.
He walked on the earth and leaped on the trees for days. One day he reached a seashore and luckily found a ship which was ready to leave. The monkey poet in no time jumped on to the ship and moved here and there over the top. The passengers saw the monkey on the ship and started to shout. "Monkey! Monkey!! Any one come and throw this away".
They said with fear. One of the passengers quickly came forward and threw him into the sea.
Some passengers shouted,"Kill him! Kill!."
Now the captain of the ship came there and saw the monkey struggling on the water. He was a kind-hearted man. So he asked the passengers "No! No, you don’t worry about the monkey. It will not harm you. This poor creature looks strange. I can manage him.
The Monkey poet was safe. He thanked the captain for his timely help. Then he sat in a corner silently without any misbehaviour. Finally the ship reached a port - that was Baghdath.
With a little smile, it thanked the captain . It jumped from the ship and wandered on the roads of Baghdath.
Just then he heard the news that the king wanted a good Advisor to him. To get selected all had to write a letter of worthy words. The best letter writer shall be given the post of the Chief advisor. The Monkey poet also wrote a letter to the king and participated in the competition. He wrote a letter of fine message. When the king read the letters, he very much liked the monkey's letter. So he ordered the writer of the letter to be brought before him soon.
The courtiers came with the news to the monkey poet who sprung before the king at once. The King saw the monkey with wonder and said "This poor monkey! You all say this creature wrote the letter!".
One of the minister said “This is true my lord. It was written by the Monkey Lord" All the courtiers and the crowded public around the king, cheered the monkey.
They wondered, "He can't talk. But how can he write a letter of such a quality. The monkey stood before the king majestically. But the king wanted to test the monkey and asked it to write the same letter now with the same words.
🧌 The Little Hunchbacked:
Once upon a time in ancient Kashgar, on the borders of great territory, a tailor lived with his wife. The couple were deep in love with each other.
One morning the tailor was working busily in his shop. A little hunchbacked came and sat by the shop's door. He held a tambour that he played and sang many sweet songs. The tailor was very impressed by the talents of the little hunchbacked.
He thought, "I'll take him home. When I am at the shop my wife is lonely at home. He will entertain my wife well."
So the tailor took the little hunchbacked house in the evening. His wife had already arranged hot dinner on the table. On seeing a guest, she brought a plate and soon they were introduced. Three of them had a good dinner and joked with each other. The little hunchbacked ate a fish. But, as ill-luck would have it, he swallowed a fish-bone. Soon enough, the little hunchbacked started choking. The tailor patted his back hard while his wife gave water to him to drink but the little hunchbacked did not recover. He choked on the fish-bone and soon lay dead by the dinner table.
The tailor and his wife felt very sorry at their guest's demise. Then they grew worried. They feared that the guards of the king would come to accuse them of murder. They were scared to go to prison. So the couple thought that they would make a plan so that it would be appeared that someone other had caused his death.
After thinking for a long time, they decided to leave the hunchbacked at a Jewish doctor's clinic-cum-residence. After a while, the tailor and his wife carried the dead body of hunchbacked to the doctor's house. They knocked at the door which led to a steep stairway to the doctor's house. As it was dark a maid came down the stairway with halting steps. On enquiry, the tailor said, "We have brought a man who is very ill. Here take this advance money for the Jewish doctor. Tell him to rush down here." The maid went upstairs to call her master. Meanwhile, the tailor and his wife put the dead body of the hunchbacked on the stairs in a sitting position at the top stair. Then they ran away from the spot.
Now the young Jewish doctor came out running to see the ill patient whose advance payment he had received. As he ran out, he tripped over the body of the hunchbacked which he could not see in the dark. The collision caused the body of the hunchbacked to on down the stairs. As the Jewish doctor reached the hunchbacked, he thought that he had killed him when he rolled down the stairs. Now it was the turn of the Jewish doctor to fear. He quickly carried the dead body straight to his wife's chamber. There he told his wife what had happened. His wife started crying bitterly. The Jewish doctor thought that he would now have to surrender and confess to the murder of the little hunchbacked. But his clever wife stopped him. She said, "You'll be foolish to confess and go to prison. Do as I tell you. Both of us will carry this corpse to our roof. From there we'll step on to our neighbour's roof. I know that our Muslim neighbour is not at home now. We'll throw the body into his house by lowering it in through the chimney." The doctor agreed and soon he and his wife carried out their plan successfully.
The Jewish doctor's neighbour, the Muslim, worked at the Sultan's palace. He provided oil and butter for the royal kitchen. He had a store-room in his house where he kept his goods and many rats and mice roamed in freely. When the doctor and his wife lowered the dead body of the hunchbacked through the chimney, it went straight into the store-room.
That night when the Muslim-neighbour entered the storeroom with his lantern, he saw a thief standing by the wall, the roof above where the chimney was. He thought that the thief had entered through the chimney. He picked a stout stick and started beating the thief. He yelled, "You thief, you've been stealing my butter for months and I thought that the mice were doing it."

Once a fisherman lived in a village. He led his life with his earnings from fishing. One day he cast his net into the sea. He waited for some time and pulled the net out. But there was nothing in the net. He felt worried and thought in his mind, "To day, my family and I will starve without food." He tried again and again but was in vain.
Finally he cast the net without any hope into the sea. After a few minutes, he pulled the net. He felt that the net was heavy. His face brightened….It looks there is a big fish in the net. But when he pulled out the net from the sea, he saw a big old jar in the net. It was closed by a beautifully decorated lid. He tried and opened the Jar.
There came a gigantic genie with an ugly wicked face. He laughed in high pitch “I have been hungry inside the jar. I want food immediately. I shall eat you". He said in loud voice. On hearing this the fisherman was terribly afraid. But he gathered his courage and said. “You are so big. How can I satisfy your hunger? The wicked genie again asked him to come near so that it could eat the fisherman.
Again the fisherman said, ‘‘I am poor. I didn't do any harm to you. Then why do you want to kill me. Genie?" But the genie said. “I would not hear your words again. Come near me quick".
But the fisherman had an idea in his mind to escape from the genie said", I am ready now…but before you kill me you have to answer my question".
"Quick", the genie said with anger.
The fisherman asked him how such a huge genie could be inside a small Jar. The genie replied that he could make himself as tiny as he. The fisherman wanted to test it. So the genie made himself as little as possible and jumped into the jar. Suddenly the fisherman closed the Jar as quickly as he could and threw the Jar into the Sea. So the wicked genie was locked inside the Jar once again. The fisherman was very happy and he escaped from the danger with his presence of mind.

🌪⚡️The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Creating Currents of Electricity and Hope
William Kamkwamba was born in Malawi, a country where magic ruled and modern science was mystery. It was also a land withered by drought and hunger, and a place where hope and opportunity were hard to find. But William had read about windmills in a book called Using Energy, and he dreamed of building one that would bring electricity and water to his village and change his life and the lives of those around him. His neighbors may have mocked him and called him misala—crazy—but William was determined to show them what a little grit and ingenuity could do.
Enchanted by the workings of electricity as a boy, William had a goal to study science in Malawi's top boarding schools. But in 2002, his country was stricken with a famine that left his family's farm devastated and his parents destitute. Unable to pay the eighty-dollar-a-year tuition for his education, William was forced to drop out and help his family forage for food as thousands across the country starved and died.
Yet William refused to let go of his dreams. With nothing more than a fistful of cornmeal in his stomach, a small pile of once-forgotten science textbooks, and an armory of curiosity and determination, he embarked on a daring plan to bring his family a set of luxuries that only two percent of Malawians could afford and what the West considers a necessity—electricity and running water. Using scrap metal, tractor parts, and bicycle halves, William forged a crude yet operable windmill, an unlikely contraption and small miracle that eventually powered four lights, complete with homemade switches and a circuit breaker made from nails and wire. A second machine turned a water pump that could battle the drought and famine that loomed with every season.
Soon, news of William's magetsi a mphepo—his "electric wind"—spread beyond the borders of his home, and the boy who was once called crazy became an inspiration to those around the world.

🥋🥊 Story On Bravery And Courage:
One cowardly person came to a master of martial arts and asked to teach him bravery. The master looked at him and said:
I will teach you only with one condition: one month you will have to live in a big city and tell every person that you meet on your way that you are a coward. You will have to say it loudly, openly and looking straight into the person’s eyes.
The person got really sad, because this task seemed very scary to him. For a couple of days he was very sad and thoughtful, but to live with his cowardice was so unbearable that he travelled to the city to accomplish his mission.
At first, when meeting the passers, he quailed, lost his speech and couldn’t contact anyone. But he needed to finish the master’s task, so he began to overcome himself. When he came up to his first passer to tell about his cowardice, it seemed to him that he would die from fear. But his voice sounded louder and more confident with every passing day. Suddenly came a moment, when the man caught himself thinking that he’s not scared anymore, and the further he continued doing the master’s task, the more convinced he was that the fear was abandoning him. That way a month had passed. The person came back to the master, bowed to him and said:
Thank you, teacher. I finished your task. Now I’m not afraid anymore. But how did you know that this strange task will help me?
The thing is that cowardice is only a habit. And by doing the things that scare us, we can destroy the stereotypes and come to a conclusion that you came to. And now you know that bravery – is also a habit. And if you want to make bravery a part of yourself- you need to move forward into the fear. Then the fear will go away, and bravery will take its place.

The monkey poet readily took a pen and a paper and started to write the same letter so fast. The king and the others were in great surprise on his way of writing. They said "This is not an ordinary monkey. The king turned back and called his daughter. She was a princess of magical powers. In no time she found that he was not a monkey…he was a poet of intelligence. She said that he had been cursed by some evil spirit.
The Princess chanted some mantra and removed the curse on the monkey. In a few minutes the monkey poet changed to a real human poet. The poet smiled happily at the courtiers and they cheered him. The pet thanked the princess for her help.
The King announced his firm decision to appoint the poet as his chief advisor. He served the court as a faithful advisor and served the king loyally for many years.

After a while when the thief did not respond and lay sideways on the floor, the neighbour went nearer. He was horrified to see that the thief was dead. His brutal beatings had killed the thief. Now the devout Muslim asked God for forgiveness and felt very guilty and afraid indeed. Then he thought of getting rid of the body in such a way that no one would suspect him at all. He thought for a while. Then, he picked the dead body of the hunchbacked and carried it in the market. As it was night time, no one saw him as he leant the body against one of the shop's wall and crept back home.
Just before dawn, a rich Christian merchant was returning from a feast where he had drunk a lot. He was going to the bath to fresh up. He walked hastily because if he was seen drunk by any other then he would be punished, according to the law of the land. As he walked fast, he jostled against a man who stood by a shop's wall. So by doing that, the hunchbacked fell on the ground. In his drunk state, the Christian thought that a thief was trying to attack him so he gave a full fisted blow to the man's face. The man fell on the ground. Then the Christian started calling loudly for help. Just then a guard patrolling the area came to him. He stopped the Christian and then called the fallen man to get up but he never moved.
Now the guard declared, "You are a Christian so you killed a Muslim devout. You will be punished for showing disrespect to another religion."
The guard called his assistants to carry the dead body of the hunchbacked. Then the Christian was put into prison.
After investigations, it was revealed that the little hunchbacked had been one of the royal jesters. As the Sultan liked him very much, the guards decided to present the case in the royal court. The Sult1an was enraged that his subjects were killing each other in the name of religion. So he sentenced the Christian to death to teach others a lesson, so that all can live in peace.
Soon the town crier announced that the merchant would be hanged publicly. The crowd gathered at the gallows to witness his death. Just as the hangman was about to tighten the rope around the Christian merchant's neck a man came rushing through the crowd. He cried, "Stop, please in God's name! It is me a Muslim who killed this Muslim brother. How can one kill a dead man? I can't let my hands be stained by the blood of an innocent Christian. Please let him go."
The crowd and guards then heard the Muslim's story. Thus the Christian stepped down and the guards got ready to hang the Muslim. As the Muslim went up to the gallows, someone screamed, "Guards, do stop right away. I confess to this crime."
There was a roar of confusion in the crowd. Then a man emerged.
He was the Jewish doctor. He said, "Please spare my Muslim friend's life for it is I who caused the jester's death."
On enquiry, the Jewish doctor narrated his story and confessed to the death of the hunchbacked caused by him on a dark staircase. The guards and the crowd were surprised at the turn of event. Then they again fell silent as the hangman tightened the noose around the Jewish doctor's neck.
Just then the tailor rushed to the gallows and held the .hangman's hand. He said, "Sir, this noose is for my neck and not for the innocent Jewish doctor. Please listen to what I have to say and you will learn that I am the real culprit."
As the tailor told his story, the hangman and the guards grew confused. The people murmured in surprise and confusion. Then the hangman freed the Jewish doctor as the tailor got ready to meet his death.
Meanwhile in the court, a guard told the Sultan about the drama that had unfolded at the gallows. The Sultan summoned all the accused to be present in the court.
Once, everyone reached the court. The Sultan heard everyone's story. The Sultan understood that the hunchbacked had died due to choking on the fish-bone and all the accused stood innocent. So he set all of them free. Then he ordered his historian to write this story for the generations to come for he had never known such an event to occur before.

Fahin! What happed to you!" “I am Kasim". Said Kasim. Now Fahin opened his mouth slowly with wonder and said, “You! You Kasim!. I already pushed you into the well in your garden". Kasim replied that he had only done him good for to his surprise he reached a new Kingdom and now had become a Wazir of the King. Kasim pointed out to Fahin saying "Your jealousy made me a wazir and it made you a begger. You had to pay for it".
Now Fahin bent down his head with sorrow and wept for a while. Fahin said,"Kasim I have realized my mistake. I am no more jealous of you. Forgive me for my sins against you."
Kasim was moved and he embraced Fahim, He gave him enough money to start a business again.

🐕🫏The Dog and The Ass:
Once there lived a merchant in Arabia. He often went to the Far East countries to sell his goods. His wife knew some magic. When his husband was away and was alone at home she read the magical books. After some years she became evil with magical powers. The merchant returned home with a lot of money and gifts for her.
Once the merchant went on a long journey and didn’t turn up for months. So his wife was in distress. She was angry on her husband and married another man who was wealthy in the town. When her husband returned back, he knew all about her and felt sad. While she saw him near her new home she cursed him and changed him as a dog with her evil magical powers.
The merchant wandered here and there in the streets and took food from the streets as a dog. One day it went near a butcher’s shop. The butcher gave some meat with bones. The dog ate only the flesh but not the bones. The butcher noticed it and told his daughter who also knew magic. His daughter came out and watched the dog carefully. She knew with her magical power that it was not a real dog. And that he was a merchant who was cursed by his own wife as dog.
The butcher asked his daughter, “Can we change the dog as before".
His daughter replied, “Yes I can".
Then she took some water from a bowl in her hand and said some magical verses. She then sprayed the water on the dog. The dog was changed to this real form as a merchant in a minute. The merchant was amazed and said. "Oh! I am back again to my form".
Then the merchant told the butcher’s daughter, “I want to teach a good lesson to my wife. Can you change her as an ass?"
The butcher’s daughter thought for a while and then took some water in a vessel and chanted some verses. Then she gave it to the merchant telling that if he sprayed the water on his wife she would be an ass then. The merchant took the water and went to his old house. His wife was in the garden at that time. The merchant went behind her and sprayed the water on her. Soon she became an ass.
“It is the punishment for you" the merchant told the ass. He then went to the butcher and asked him to give away his daughter to him in marriage. The butcher readily accepted and got her married to the merchant. Then they lived happily for many years.

Once upon a time there lived a poor merchant. One day he returned from the market in the evening. As he was tired he sat down on a shady three to take rest for a while. Leaning on the tree he began to eat a pocket of dates. After eating the dates he threw the nut behind.
There was a frightening sound around him and the entire place was shaking for a while. The merchant stood up terrified behind the tree. He saw a wicked demon with an ugly face. On seeing the demon his legs started shivering and he could not stand firmly on the ground. “
“You silly man why are you throwing stones on me? I was sleeping calmly. You have disturbed my sleep. You have to die for this". It shouted in a thundering voice.
Some how the merchant gathered his courage and said, “Majesty, I don’t throw stones on you. I had no idea to disturb you. I just threw the nuts of dates that I have eaten. I am very sorry. So please forgive me".
But the demon said, "You are cheating me with your cunning words. I will kill you now".
The poor merchant pleaded to the demon. "If you want to kill me, you can kill me after my last wish". The demon asked, "What is that?" The merchant requested, you allow me to go to my house once. I will settle my debts to the others and say last words to my family before my death".
The demon believed his words and allowed him to do as he liked. But it asked him to come the next day itself. The merchant went to his house and settled all his debts and said with tears. “I am to bind my promise to the demon. So I want to go now to the demon".
The Demon saw the merchant coming back to it as he promised. Then it wanted to test his honesty. "I am very happy now. I want to test you now. I will ask the first three men passing by about you. If they talk good about you, I will leave you to go home". The demon said and waited for three persons.
The first man came there. He was old. The demon stopped him and asked him, "Do you know this merchant?"
The old man said, "Yes, I know him very well. He is very kind of me and helped me when I was robbed by the thieves". The Demon felt happy.
The second man came. He was a judge. The Demon stopped the judge and asked, “Do you know this merchant", The judge replied that he brought a man who cheated him in the trade. When I gave punishment to him, the merchant asked him to forgive". The demon smiled for a while.
The third man came. He was a very rich man. The Demon asked him the same question. The rich man thought for some time and then said, “Yes, yes, he helped me once to start my business, with his help now I am very rich".
Then the Demon was quite satisfied and said, “I think, you are a good man really. You go home and join your family and live long."

🌳🏔💎Return of Princess and Her Ruby:
Long years ago, Zaman was the Prince of a small Arab kingdom. He went to a nearby forest with his Princess Badora for a camp. After the meals the Princess removed all her jewels to take rest in the tent.
When the Princess put the jewels beside her, a bird flew down fast and took a jewel with a Ruby stone. On hearing the sound of the flying bird she cried for help “Alah! My precious stone."
The Prince said "Don't worry. I will surely get it back dear." He soon hurried towards the direction of the flying bird which took the jewel The Prince ran very fast as he could.
But it was very difficult for him to chase the bird by land. In a few minutes the bird was far away and finally went out of sight.
He said. ‘What can I do now?" He had gone very deep in the thick forest and finally he lost the way and stopped there for a while. There he remembered the Princess Badora. He thought 'Alah my Princess was alone in the camp. I shall go back fast to meet the Princess."
He tried to return back through thorns and thick bushes At end he reached the place where he left the Princess. But for his shock there was no Princess. So he cried, “O my dear Badora! Where are you dear?" But it was in vain. There was no reply from his wife.
Princess Badora had waited for some time there. She was scared by the forest animals. So she wandered here and there and finally came to a Kingdom on the other side of the forest. The Kingdom was ruled by King Aram. She narrated what happened in the forest. King Aram took pity on her and allowed her to stay in his Palace till her husband Zaman rescued her.
But Zaman was wandering here and there and came to a beautiful garden. He was very tired and could not walk too. So he wanted to take rest in the garden for a while. He sat under a shadow of a big tree At the top, some birds were fighting with each other. He saw keenly what they were trying to snatch from the other bird. To his wonder one bird dropped something from her beak. When it came down, it glittered brightly.
Zaman jumped quickly and picked up the glittering object before the birds tried. On seeing the object he shouted in joy, “Here is my wife's Ruby" I am very lucky. Oh! God."
And put it in his bog but he felt sod because he missed his Badora and could not find her anywhere in the forest.
After some days Prince Zaman reached the Kingdom of King Aram. There he came to know that a new Princess had arrived to their palace some days ago. He prayed to God. "Oh God! It Shall be the princess Badora!" He wanted to find the princess in disguise. So he disguised himself as a merchant and took a jar of honey to the King Aram's palace. There he dropped the ruby stone in the jar of honey and asked a guard to present it to the new Princess only.
The guard gave the jar to the new Princess. The Princess asked her servant to pour the honey into a pot To her surprise, she found the ruby stone in the jar which was stolen by the bird in the forest. As she found the ruby she shouted in joy…oh! My ruby."
Asked herself, “How did the merchant get her Ruby? "Soon the Princess ordered her servant to bring the merchant to her.
Immediately they brought the merchant before the Princess Badora. On seeing the walk and face of the merchant, she identified her prince and said “ O Prince, Are you in disguise?" The Prince Zaman cried in joy, 'O princess, my Badora!’
Soon both of them met the King Aram and the Prince described the past incidents to him. King Aram sent them with greetings to their Kingdom.
Zaman's sincere effort was fruitful. The Princess got her ruby and the Prince got his Princess Badora.

💰Greediness can make A Man Blind:
Long ago there lived a merchant Abdullah. He was very rich, but he was very greedy. One day he loaded his forty camels with costly spices to sell in a far away city in Arabia. He sold all the spices there. He halted in an inn to have lunch on the way back. There a Holy man met Abdullah and they became friends then.
The Holy man described about the secret land of enormous wealth.
"I also have heard about it “ Abdullah said with a smile.
The Holy man said, “If you bring your camels there, we will load a lot of precious stones like diamonds, rubies and gold." Abdullah nodded his head as a symbol of acceptance. The Holy man further said that half of the load should be given to him. Abdullah thought that it was reasonable. So he agreed the offer.
Both of them travelled and reached the land fully surrounded by beautiful mountains. The Holy man sprinkled some white powder on the ground, taken from a small box he had. Suddenly clouds of smoke came from the powder. After, all the smoke had settled down, he saw a way there. When both of them went through the path they found a cave with full of gems and gold coins.
The Holy man asked Abdullah to come in. He moved inside the cave. There he saw the treasure which he never had seen before. He quickly took them and filled his bags and loaded them on the camels. When he completed the loading of all the forty camels, the Holy man told Abdullah that he should take twenty camels, as his share.
On hearing that Abdullah said to the Holy man, “ why are you in need of such a wealth?, you may take only ten. I will take thirty".
The Holy man agreed to that with a smile. Some time later, the greedy Abdullah again said, “Even the ten would be a burden to a Holy man like you, so you may take five only".
Again the Holy man agreed. But Abdullah was not satisfied with that. So he asked him to give the five also to him. The Holy man nodded his head with a smile.
Even then Abdullah was not satisfied. So he again asked him to give the magical powder too as the Holy man needed it no more. Only then the holy man warned Abdullah that the powder might cause danger if it was not used properly.
Further he said that it turned everything to gold when rubbed on the left eye. “But you would be blind if you rubbed it on your right eye’’he said.
As his greed grew more, Abdullah did not care about the danger. He compelled the holy man to give the powder. After a while the holy man gave the magical powder with the box and left the place.
Abdullah could not control his curiosity. He quickly started to rub some powder on his left eye. All of a sudden the entire thing which he saw with his left eye changed into gold. Then he thought that if he rubbed the powder on both the eyes, the whole world would turn as gold.
Ignoring the warning of the Holy man, he rubbed the powder on his right eye also. At the very next movement he became blind. He cried with pain and said,"God…I was too greedy". But it was too late, for he had become totally blind.

👁 Eye for An Eye:
Once there lived a prince. He lost one of his eyes. But now he was not a prince, he wandered here and there as a noble man.
One day he came to an Inn to stay for the night. He hired a room in the inn and stayed there in the night. As he liked the place very much he stayed there for days. The daughter of the Inn’s owner met him occasionally. She took pity on him and asked, how he had lost his eye. The noble man told her that once his father was a king of a country. When he was away to his cousin’s kingdom, one wicked minister cunningly killed his father and came to the throne. While he was returning back to his country, his men captured him on the way. The Minister ordered to take the left eye. “This was how I lost my one eye" he said in a low voice.
The daughter of the inn asked him, “why did the minister take your eye?" he said.
"The minister wanted to take revenge on me. It was also a separate story." Said that prince.
He then continued, “In my young age, I was wandering with bow and arrows. When I was shooting, it had hit the minister's left eye unexpectedly. So he lost his left eye and he was awaiting a suitable opportunity to revenge me. So he captured me when I returned to my kingdom. I begged for mercy and told that he did not blind his eye purposefully. But he didn't listen to my words and blinded my left eye and sent me from the kingdom to the forest. I was wandering in the forest for many days. One day the animal hunters took pity on me and brought me here. Since then I have been staying here." He finished.
The Inn owner’s daughter said, “Your life story touched my heart and this should not happen to any one. Then the noble man left the place and went on his way.

👳🐒🧞♂️Aladdin And The Magic Lamp
Long time ago in China, there lived a poor boy, whose name was Aladdin. Aladdin lived with his mother. One day a rich and distinguished looking man came to their house and said to Aladdin's mother, "I am a merchant from Arabia and want your son to come with me. I will reward him handsomely." Aladdin's mother instantly agreed. Little did she know that the man pretending to be a rich merchant was in reality a magician.
Next day, Aladdin having packed his belongings left with the 'merchant'. After many hours of traveling the 'merchant' stopped. Aladdin too stopped, surprised that they should stop in such a desolate spot. He looked around; there was nothing in sight for miles.
The 'merchant' pulled out some colored powder from his pocket and threw in the ground. The next instant the whole place was filled with smoke. As the smoke cleared, Aladdin saw a huge opening in the ground; it was a cave. The 'merchant' turned to Aladdin and said, "I want you to go inside this cave; there will be more gold than you have ever seen; take as much as you want. You will also see an old lamp; please bring that back to me. Here, take this ring; it will help you." Aladdin was very suspicious but the decided to do as was told.
He lowered himself into the cave, thinking all the while that it would be difficult to climb out without help. Aladdin entered the cave and just like the 'merchant' had said saw gold, jewelry, diamonds and other valuables. He filled his pockets. When this was done, he looked for the lamp; it was lying in the corner, full of dust and dirty. He picked it up and ran to the cave's opening and shouted to the 'merchant', "I have your lamp. Can you please pull me out?" "Give me the lamp," said the 'merchant'. Aladdin was not sure that he would be pulled out if he gave back the lamp; so he said, "First, please pull me out."
Aladdin and The GenieThis angered the 'merchant'. With a loud cry, he pulled out the same colorful powder and threw it on the cave opening, sealing it with a huge boulder. Aladdin was depressed. He thought, "That was no rich merchant; he was surely a magician. I wonder why this lamp was so important to him." As he was thinking he rubbed the lamp. All of sudden a strange mist filled the room and from the mist emerged a stranger looking man. He said, "My master, I am the genie of the lamp, you have rescued me; what would your wish be?" Aladdin was scared but he said in quivering voice, "Ta.. Take me back home."
And the next moment Aladdin was home hugging his mother. He told her of the magician and the lamp. Aladdin again summoned the genie. This time when the genie appeared he was not scared. He said, "Genie, I want a palace, not an old hut." Again to Aladdin and his mother's amazement in front of them was a magnificent palace.
Time passed. Aladdin married the Sultan's daughter and was very happy. It so happened that the evil magician got to know of Aladdin's good fortune. He came by Aladdin's palace pretending to exchange old lamps for new. The princes, Aladdin's wife, not knowing the value of the lamp to Aladdin called out to the magician to wait.
As soon as the magician saw the lamp he grabbed it from the princess' hand and rubbed it. The genie appeared, "you are my master and your wish is my command," he said to the magician. "Take Aladdin's palace to the great desert faraway from here," ordered the magician.
When Aladdin came home, there was no palace and no princess. He guessed it must be the evil magician who had come to take revenge on him. All was not lost, Aladdin had a ring that the magician had given to him. Aladdin pulled out that ring, rubbed it. Another genie appeared. Aladdin said, "Take me to my princess."
Soon, Aladdin was in Arabia with his princess. He found his lamp lying on a table next to the magician. Before the magician could react, Aladdin jumped for the lamp and got hold of it. As soon as he had the lamp, Aladdin rubbed it.
🏎 THE LEGEND OF BURT MUNRO
The late Burt Munro, is one of Southland’s most celebrated legends, and tributes to him have become popular attractions. The New Zealander, immortalised in The World’s Fastest Indian movie, was a speedbike racer that set land speed records in Utah in the late 1950s and 1960s on a highly modified Indian Scout motorcycle. He is most famous for his under-1000cc world record (an average speed of 183.586mph - 295.45km), set at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967. The record still stands today.
Herbert James 'Burt' Munro was born in Edendale, a town near Invercargill on 25 March 1899. He spent years modifying a 1920 Indian motorcycle before setting his first New Zealand speed record (120.8mph - 194.4km) in 1940. During 10 visits to Bonneville he set three world speed records.
His efforts and achievements are the basis of the 2005 movie starring Anthony Hopkins. His life is also celebrated in permanent displays around Invercargill, with E Hayes and Sons paying tribute to him as well as selling World’s Fastest Indian memorabilia. They also have two of Burt’s bikes on display; he sold them to the store after a stroke in 1977 hampered his riding ability.
Burt was 68 and riding a 47-year old machine when he set his last record. He died at the age of 78, on 6 January 1978.
Since 2006 the life of the legendary racer has been celebrated in Southland with the Burt Munro Challenge. The 6 day event is held in different locations around Southland which include Oreti Beach, where Burt originally trained for the Bonneville Salt Flats as well as Teretonga Park raceway, the most southern FAI approved raceway in the world.

⛷Get out of the Crowd and Reach New Heights:
John and his friends used to go mountain climbing once every year. This time they have decided to climb mountains in the Swiss Alps.
They reached the famous mountain spot in the Swiss Alps and were surprised to see many people climbing the mountains.
John and his friends started wearing all the mountain climbing gear and started climbing. In no time, they reached the top of the hill.
After reaching there, friends decided to camp there.
Then John saw another mountain where only a handful of people were trying to climb it.
He told his friends, “Let us go and climb that mountain also. It will be fun and challenging instead of camping here.”
A friend replied, “No way, I have heard people talking about that mountain. It seems the path is difficult to climb, and only a few people can able to climb.”
People nearby hearing the conversation made fun of John and said, “If it was easy to climb, why we were sitting idle here.”
Hearing them, John took that as a challenge and went alone towards climbing the peak.
Two hours later, he reached the top of the hill. People who were already there welcomed John with a round of applause.
John was happy having climbed the peak. He could see the beautiful views of nature from the top.
He started a conversation with people and asked them, “While climbing this peak, I felt it was not so difficult. Then why only a handful of people here?
If people could climb the below peak, they can climb here also if they put in some effort.”
A veteran climber replied, “Most people in the crowd right there are happy with what they find easy. They never think that they have the potential to achieve more.
Even people who are not happy there do not want to take any risk. They think if we take risks, they will lose what they already have.
But to reach a new peak, we need to put in our effort.
Many of them do not show any courage, and they remain part of the crowd the whole life.
And keep complaining about the handful of courageous people and call them lucky.”
Hearing this, John thanked the veteran for explaining the importance of courage in our life.
Moral of the story:
In our life, many of us stay in our comfort zone. But to achieve something big, we need effort and courage.
We should never stop, have the courage to push ourselves out of the crowd.
Focus on moving to the handful of people, whom the people called Courageous People.

🫏 The Ass and His Purchaser:
A Man who wanted to buy an Ass went to market, and, coming across a likely-looking beast, arranged with the owner that he should be allowed to take him home on trial to see what he was like. When he reached home, he put him into his stable along with the other asses. The newcomer took a look round, and immediately went and chose a place next to the laziest and greediest beast in the stable. When the master saw this he put a halter on him at once, and led him off and handed him over to his owner again. The latter was a good deal surprised to see him back so soon, and said, "Why, do you mean to say you have tested him already?" "I don't want to put him through any more tests," replied the other: "I could see what sort of beast he is from the companion he chose for himself."
A man is known by the company he keeps.
