⚠️ Indian telecom Reliance is sabotaging access to Telegram for millions of users OUTSIDE India (including the UAE) via a rogue method called BGP hijacking.

🧨 The sabotage seems intentional, as Reliance has ignored multiple reports.

😞 This may be part of a competitive war, as Reliance is partially owned by Meta — the company behind WhatsApp.

🌐 Network operators are advised to reject unauthorized BGP announcements from Reliance (AS18101) to prevent route hijacks and ensure stable Internet access for their users.

🤔 Such abuse of global Internet routing is suspicous. I wouldn’t be surprised if Reliance/WhatsApp were also behind the recent lobbying effort to ban Telegram in India.

🚫 India’s IT ministry banned Telegram for one week because some users shared leaked exam questions.

This punishes 150 million ordinary Telegram users in India — not the insiders who leaked the exam materials.

And the ban hasn't stopped anything. The leaks just moved to other apps.

🛡 We’ve done a lot to help fix the problem — even though its source is not Telegram.

Over the past few weeks, we removed hundreds of channels sharing leaked exam materials and related scams in India.

We’ve also been making the “edited” label more visible to prevent backdating scams.

🏳️ Telegram is a force for good. Banning it — even temporarily — is a mistake.

SpaceX to acquire Cursor for $60B

SpaceX announced that it will acquire Anysphere, the company behind AI coding tool Cursor, in an all-stock transaction valuing Cursor at $60B.

Cursor will become a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary. The merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026 after regulatory approvals.

JUST IN: India has also directed Apple and Google to remove Telegram from their app stores

Apple and Google have also received orders from the Indian government to remove the Telegram app from their app stores amid concerns of medical exam fraud.

Google and Apple, both of them will comply with the order and will delist the Telegram app from PlayStore ans AppStore respectively.

Novo Nordisk is the company that became famous after producing weight loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy

The Threat Actor(s) responsible for the attack has been playfully extorting Novo Nordisk (they're not being playful) and have unveiled some details regarding what was stolen.

Interestingly, it appears Novo Nordisk has it's own internal AI thing because some of the data stolen was stuff from their internal AI agents.

Data stolen (according to the Threat Actor):
- Trained model checkpoint (16GB)
- Proprietary training dataset (407MB)
- Full source code (modeling_novopert.py, training pipeline)
- 113 training runs with complete logs
- Internal infrastructure maps (HPC, Slurm, SSH)
- Container images (53GB+)
- Developer identities and internal hostnames
- Private GitHub repository URL

Claude will now ask you to verify your age or identity

Anthropic has updated its privacy policy wherein they have mentioned that Claude users may soon be asked for age or identity checks. Verification data can include government ID, face photos/videos, and facial geometry templates.

These changes to the privacy policy will be effective from July 8, 2026.

In lieu of a dispute between Apple and the EU, a constitution has been framed by the Apple users community in the EU region with the following declaration and rights:

We, the people of Europe, are the ones left without access. We, iPhone users across the European Union, declare:

1. Access is not a privilege.
2. Privacy and competition are allies, not enemies.
3. Regulation should protect users, not park their features.
4. Delay has a cost.
5. Europe deserves the front row.

BREAKING: India bans Telegram to stop NEET examination paper leaks

Since the NEET examination paper for 2026 was leaked earlier, and later spread on Telegram by different individuals, the Government of India has decided to restrict Telegram to stop the spread of the NEET paper in case it gets leaked again.

Telegram has been temporarily banned in India until 22nd June 2026 for the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination, and the message editing feature will be disabled in the country until 30th June 2026.

Did you know?
The Government of India is also using the Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft to transport NEET papers to examination centers because they fear the papers could leak during transportation.
