Two programmers have developed an interesting system called GibberLink that allows two independent AIs (for example, one for hotel reception and one as a passenger) to talk to each other via voice. When they realize that they are both AIs, they change their own conversation system, which is designed for humans and is slow, and instead use the ggwave voice system to conduct their conversation much faster and complete the task assigned to them more efficiently, without the need for direct communication, the Internet, etc.

This project was created for the ElevenLabs hackathon and won first place.

The ggwave library is open source and can be used for various projects, and you can test it online with two devices nearby.

Japanese company Sigma has unveiled an attractive camera called the Sigma BF, which is made from a single piece of aluminum, has a 24.6-megapixel full-frame sensor, and in addition to a display with a more modern interface than other cameras, its buttons are touch-sensitive with vibration feedback, and it has a dial for changing settings, with each setting displayed on a small display above it.

This camera does not have a memory card slot, but is equipped with an internal SSD storage with a capacity of 230 GB, and files can be transferred from it using a USB-C cable.

The BF camera can capture 8 frames per second and is also capable of recording video at 6K@29.97FPS resolution.

💰 Sigma sells this camera without a lens for $2,000.

Alef Aeronautics has released a video of the “World’s First Flying Car,” which can travel 223 miles on the ground and 110 miles in the air on a single charge. The Model A will cost around $300,000, and pre-orders have already exceeded 3,300 units.

This is the first time in history that a car first moves on the ground and then takes off vertically. Alef has been developing flying cars for more than a decade

In 2022, Alef unveiled a prototype of the Model A, which soon received airworthiness certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, making Alef the first company to sell flying cars through dealerships.

Microsoft has unveiled a revolutionary quantum chip called Majorana 1, based on topconductors, a new type of matter. The chip bypasses the limitations of thermodynamics and electrodynamics, allowing the creation of error-resistant topological qubits. Microsoft has been working on the technology for more than 20 years

So far, Majorana 1 has only eight qubits (analogous to a bit in a regular computer) against hundreds and thousands of competitors, but a processor with a million qubits is being developed on its basis.
