On your MacBook, click on Settings > Storage > the little i next to Documents > then it will show you large files, downloads, unsupported apps, file browser, and just go through those and delete what shouldn’t be there.

I was so excited when I woke up this morning and saw my MacBook had a Telegram app update. I thought today is going to be the day where my streaming will be good once again. But I was wrong. It’s still pixelated and looks like shit.

I remember back in the day when Telegram worked beautifully no matter what. Now with every app update whether it’s for iOS or macOS something gets broken and then it either takes Telegram forever to fix it or doesn’t get fixed at all. Maybe this is why everybody’s making the switch to X.

Hi, folks. I use the Telegram app to download books from some public groups. The problem is: even if I go to my download folder and delete a certain file, then go to the trash and permanently erase it, it still does not go away. In the group under the file name it still appears "show in finder", if I click it, the document opens instantly, I don't have to download it again, so it has not been truly deleted. Help me, pls.

I have 2 users/admins on my mac.
One user shared a folder to another user.
Another user mounted it in his user area with Terminal to see it.
In Finder, in the subfolder "Shared" can it not be seen.
Question: how to let macOS make the shared folder seeable automatically?

So the streaming quality is still pixelated and looks like shit on Telegram on my Mac. However, I did find a workaround. So if anybody else is experiencing this, this is what I did.

I was using and running macOS.telegram.org and that is still my preferred version. I think it looks better and it runs smoother. However, when I go to stream in a video chat on that version, everybody in chat says my stream is pixelated and looks like shit.

So I downloaded and installed desktop.telegram.org, and even though I don’t like that version and it’s sluggish, the stream is clear over there. So I will just use that version when I need to stream. So if anybody else is getting feedback from their video chat participants that your quality of the stream is bad. This is something you can do.

Hi guys -- I'm having an issue where deleting downloaded files from my Downloads folder doesn't actually get rid of them, Telegram lets me essentially resurrect them by clicking "show in finder". Any idea how to fix this?

hi. i use macbook pro.
i downloaded a show from telegram. even though now i have deleted it from finder as well as from telegram(cache), it is still appearing in the chats as 'show in finder'. when i click on it the show starts. i am not able to find any way to delete it since it is no longer being shown in my cache.
please help

So ever since the Mac Telegram update 11.8.271343 Stable, everyone in voice chat is reporting back to me that the video quality I’m streaming is really shitty. And it was never that way before and my computer is always plugged into ethernet. I’ve cleared my cache, and rebooted my computer and they are still reporting back that it is potato quality that I’m streaming.

Yet when I attempted to stream with my iPhone (which you really can’t because voice chat never hears the audio) they reported that the video quality was good. And my iPhone is not hooked up to ethernet.
