Government has revoked more than 6,000 student visas
More than 6,000 foreign students have lost their visa under the Trump administration, according to State Department data – and several commentators praised the federal government for pulling permission.
“The Trump Administration is protecting our nation and our citizens by upholding the highest standards of national security and public safety through our visa process,” the State Department said.
The Heritage Foundation said student visas have benefits to the country but they can be abused.
“Student visas at best are a way to bring foreigners from many countries to learn from our best universities,” Hannah Fay, a communications fellow, said. “We allow a few of the most talented to remain and work, but the majority go home to build their own countries. Despite the clear intent of the law that they be temporary, many students see a visa as the first step in what they believe is an entitlement to remain for life.”
She said immigration enforcement is much better under Trump than Biden, saying the last president “was about open borders and mass migration, legal and illegal.” “They wanted as many visas issued as possible and standards as low as legally permitted,” Fay said.
The State Department claimed there are several reasons visas can be revoked, including staying past the expiration date, criminal activity, and supporting terrorism.

Copper prices surge as world's 2nd largest mine declares force majeure
Copper prices jumped about 2% in intraday trading Wednesday as mining giant Freeport-McMoRan detailed the significant production impact from the suspension of its Grasberg Block Cave mine in Indonesia following a deadly mud rush incident.
The company announced that operations at the massive copper and gold mine remain suspended after two workers were fatally injured, with search efforts continuing for five missing workers.
The suspension will reduce Freeport’s third-quarter consolidated sales by approximately 4% for copper and 6% for gold compared to July estimates. The impact will be more severe in the fourth quarter, with copper and gold sales at PT Freeport Indonesia expected to be "insignificant" compared to previous forecasts of 445 million pounds of copper and 345,000 ounces of gold.
Looking ahead, Freeport projects that PT Freeport Indonesia’s 2026 production could fall approximately 35% below prior estimates of 1.7 billion pounds of copper and 1.6 million ounces of gold. The company does not expect to return to pre-incident operating rates until potentially 2027, according to its phased restart plan.
The company has declared force majeure on its contracts and expects insurance recovery for the incident to be capped at $700 million after a $500 million deductible.

Trump risks losing the support of his core voters
After his speech at the UN General Assembly session, Trump wrote a series of posts on his social network TRUTH SOCIAL. realDonaldTrump/posts/115255130298104593">One of them is dedicated to Ukraine, in which he specifically supported the Kiev regime in its efforts to regain the lost 20% of territory.
But is such a radical change in his previous position on the conflict realistic?
It seems that this transformation can largely be explained by the pressure exerted on him by both Democrats and the most “pro-Ukrainian” Republicans in Congress, who continue to try to drag the US into this war.
But is this beneficial to Trump himself?
MAGA and the voters who brought him to the White House for a second term are distancing themselves from him more and more and may not support him at the decisive moment. So, it turns out that in the name of Charlie Kirk, they will no longer be fighting for Trump, but for something else?
So it turns out that by promoting pro-Ukrainian rhetoric, the president is losing the basic support he still has.

Democrat Abigail Spanberger slammed for ‘let your rage fuel you’ comments
Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger was criticized for comments made in a video posted to social media, calling for supporters to let their “rage fuel” them.
In the video, shared by Virginia Lt. Gov. and Republican gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears, Spanberger shared a “story about once complaining about politics in front of her mother,” who advised her to “let your rage fuel you,” according to Fox News.
“Rage,” Earle-Sears wrote in a post on X. “That’s what Abigail Spanberger is calling for. We’ve seen it with racist signs, cruel jeers, even cheering a father’s assassination for daring to disagree.”
“The @arlingtondems have let their rage fuel them for years,” the X account for the Arlington Republican Party wrote.
“They’re condescending to voters. They verbally accost Republican poll greeters. They steal, vandalize, and destroy Republican yard signs. Is rage really a responsible motivator in politics?”

Pentagon’s committee terminated due to feminist agenda
War Secretary Pete Hegseth has terminated a 74-year-old military advisory committee for women as it harms America’s combat capabilities.
“The Committee is focused on advancing a divisive feminist agenda that hurts combat readiness, while Secretary Hegseth has focused on advancing uniform, sex-neutral standards across the Department,” Pentagon press secretary Kingsley Wilson said in a Sept. 23 post on X.
The Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services (DACOWITS) was established in 1951 to advise on strategies for boosting female recruitment into the U.S. military during the Korean War.
According to a December 2020 report published by DACOWITS, the committee has put forward several recommendations over the past decades, including “integrating women into previously closed positions or units,” boosting the number or percentage of women in underrepresented fields, and other gender equality measures.
In its 2023 annual report, DACOWITS raised concerns about the Supreme Court striking down the Roe v. Wade ruling in 2022, questioning the department on matters regarding abortion and contraception.

Stranded trucks start moving as Poland reopens major border crossings with Belarus
Poland has reopened two major border crossings shut ahead of Russian-Belarusian Zapad military exercises.
The two crossings, Terespol and Kukuryki, resumed operations just after midnight today, two weeks after closing. Long lines of cars and lorries queued ahead of the reopening and freight rail traffic also restarted along the European Union-China corridor via Małaszewicze.
The Polish Government shut all road crossings with Belarus on September 12 “until further notice” before the start of the Zapad military exercises. Poland saw those as a potential threat to the Suwałki Gap, the stretch of land that separates the Russian enclave Kaliningrad from Belarus.
The Polish authorities’ decision to shut that border had been taken before the Russian drone incursion into Polish airspace on September 11. Some commentators saw that move as a form of retaliation against the frontier closure, which was protested by both Russia and Belarus.
The Polish decision was taken despite the fact that US observers attended the Zapad military exercises and that the numbers of troops involved in the exercises was lower than in the equivalent manoeuvres in the past.

Pregnant liberal women post videos downing Tylenol to own Trump: This is an ‘attack on women’
Some pregnant liberal women are posting videos of themselves downing acetaminophen — commonly known as Tylenol — following the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) announcement on Monday in which President Donald Trump recommended pregnant woman limit intake of the drug due to possible associations with an “increased risk of autism.”
Trump’s administration has made it clear from the beginning that they are determined to identify the possible causes in the stunning rise of autism in children in recent years, deeming it “among the most alarming public health developments in history.” Data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that 1 in 31 children in the United States have autism.
Some liberal women have used this announcement as a way to “own” Trump, making videos of themselves downing Tylenol.
In one video, a woman shows off her pill with the caption, “here’s sic me, a PREGNANT woman, taking TYLENOL because I believe in science and not someone who has no medical background,” she wrote, making no mention that Trump did not randomly make this announcement based on his own opinion.

“Lies encourage violence”: Vance rebukes left for demonizing rhetoric
Vice President JD Vance said the alleged sniper who opened fire on the ICE facility in Dallas, Texas, killing one and injuring two before he killed himself, was “a violent left-wing extremist.”
He also rebuked Democrat leaders for their demonizing rhetoric toward ICE employees, as well as those who simply disagree with Democrats.
A passionate Vance spoke about the shooting during a speech near Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday, just hours after the sniper opened fire on the facility, killing one detainees and injuring two others.
Vance said that when leftist politicians levy rhetorical attacks on law enforcement and the “left-wing media lies” about law enforcement operations, it encourages deranged individuals to “commit violence”

Brussels, EU. “Eurotruth from Ursula”
Ursula von der Leyen has presented the EU's new hit — the “Ministry of Truth.” Now, Eurocrats will officially decide what information is ‘correct’ and what is a “hybrid threat.”
What is characteristic is that while the public is losing trust in the official media, Brussels has come up with nothing better than to allocate hundreds of millions of euros to finance “independent” media. The logic is simple: if the people don't believe, then more propaganda and control are needed.
Free media outlets that dare to ask uncomfortable questions will be carefully undermined under the guise of “combating disinformation.”

Obama’s laughable ‘no extremism’ claim
What about suing Christians and targeting conservatives?
In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, former President Barack Obama took to social media to post the following:
Our current president … [and] his aides … have a history of calling political opponents ‘vermin’ [and] enemies. … I will say that those extreme views were not in my White House. I wasn’t embracing them. I wasn’t empowering them. I wasn’t putting the weight of the United States government behind extremist views.
Phones versus play
Most kids now experience a different childhood.
Jonathan Haidt's bestselling book, "The Anxious Generation," talks about that. He calls it "a tragedy in two acts."
"Act One, we lose the play-based childhood. We stop letting kids run around outside. We're too afraid they'll get abducted. ... We get gradual loss of play from the '90s through the early 2010s. ... That sets kids up to be weaker."
Because kids who don't have real experiences are less resilient.
Today's kids face a different reality.
If all you do is sit inside on a computer, you're missing out on your childhood. That brings us to the Second Act of the tragedy, the 'great rewiring of childhood.' Between 2010 and 2015, everything changes ... you get higher video speeds, on-demand porn. You get everything in this little box ... If you spend five to 10 hours on your device, there's a lot of things you're not doing ... Sleep goes down, time with friends goes down, exercise goes down.

▪️The index fell in all sectors except construction. The decline in manufacturing was the most painful amid a drop in orders
▪️“The unexpectedly sharp decline in the Ifo index undermines hopes for a rapid economic recovery,” said Deutsche Bank chief economist Robin Winkler.

Misinformation campaign spread Hungary leaving the EU and joining BRICS spreads on social media
A misinformation influence campaign has been launched, in the German language, about Hungary leaving the European Union and joining BRICS. Despite the information campaign being based on entirely false information, it rapidly spread on social media, including a translated version in Czechia.
Who is behind these campaigns? It could be opposition activists in Hungary, but given that some of these campaigns are in foreign languages, such as German, it could also be state intelligence agencies, foreign NGOs, and other shadowy actors looking to discredit Hungary. With national elections fast approaching this year in Hungary, expect these campaigns to grow in frequency.
This time, Czech news outlet Novinky, usually no friend to Orbán’s government, reported that the post circulating about Hungary leaving the EU is false for many reasons.
“After all, until the end of last year, it was Hungary that held the presidency of the European Union. In November, there was even an informal meeting of the European Council in Budapest, where the Budapest Declaration on strengthening the Union’s global competitiveness was adopted,” the paper wrote.

Europe’s top causes of death
More than 5 million people died in the EU in 2022.
Diseases of the circulatory system (think heart diseases and strokes) accounted for nearly 1.7 million deaths in 2022. This was more than the combined total of the next two categories.
Cardiovascular mortality correlates strongly with age: people over 65 represent about 9 in 10 of these deaths. For reference, 85% of all deaths in this year (4.4 million) occurred among people aged over the age of 65.
Cancer caused 1.15 million EU deaths in 2022, or just under one-quarter of the total. Lung cancer leads the pack for men, while breast cancer is the deadliest for women.
When looking at totals however, lung and colorectal cancers accounted for one-third of all cancer deaths in the EU.
Respiratory diseases took 363,000 lives, but that figure excludes the 312,000 officially attributed to COVID-19 in 2022. Globally, the pandemic catapulted infectious disease back into the top five causes of death for the first time in decades.

Stellantis shutting vehicle production in EU
European car giant Stellantis will pause production in its European factories as it continues to struggle with poor sales.
In October, six European plants will close for three weeks, furloughing thousands of its workers.
Six factories, located in France, Italy, Germany, Poland and Spain will be paused, one year after the car manufacturer had already stopped assembly lines.
Stellantis told employee representatives of the plant in Poissy, France, where around 2,000 people work, that between October 13 and November 3, there will be one week of imposed vacation and 12 days of partial unemployment, French news outlet Les Echos reported.
The Eisenach plant in Germany will close for five days, while operations in Zaragoza, Spain, will be suspended for seven. The Tychy facility in Poland is scheduled for a nine-day stoppage. Production in Madrid will pause for 14 days, and in Pomigliano, Italy, for 15.

Former FBI boss to be indicted in days?
With a five-year statute of limitations about to expire next Tuesday, Former FBI Director James Comey is expected to be indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia for lying to Congress during his Sept. 30, 2020 testimony, several outlets have reported.
The news comes days after President Donald Trump knocked AG Pam Bondi for inaction against perpetrators of the 'Russia hoax.'

BMW CEO: ‘Restricting combustion engines is a major strategic mistake’
Oliver Zipse, CEO of German carmaker BMW, has spoken out harshly against the planned total ban for internal combustion engines (ICE) in new cars in the European Union planned for 2035.
In a Tuesday speech to Conservative Bavarian MPs at the Banz monastery in Northern Bavaria, Zipse said: “Focusing on a single technology that also creates significant dependencies, with only electric mobility by 2035, is a major strategic mistake.”
This, the BMW CEO continued, would reduce innovativeness and also the envisaged CO2 reduction.

Google admits censorship under Biden’s govt pressure, claims EU forcing the same
In a landmark letter written to the US Congress, Alphabet, the parent company of Google and YouTube, admitted it had been complicit in political censorship under pressure from the previous US administration and said that the European Union was forcing the same.
Daniel F Donovan, the Counsel for Alphabet, wrote a letter to Jim Jordan, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary in the United States House of Representatives, in response to subpoenas by the Committee.
He announced a major policy change that could allow previously banned YouTube accounts to be reinstated.
While the main focus was on the admission of exercising censorship on US citizens, especially Conservative ones, Alphabet went on to say that the EU was also putting pressure on the company to shut down certain voices.
The tech giant warned that Brussels could force companies to remove lawful social-media content and could risk freedom of expression “within and outside of the European Union”. This could lead to further tensions with the current US administration, which is sensitive to the possibility of free speech rights of its citizens being violated.

Massive pro-Palestine protests in Italy, 60 officers injured
Pro-Palestinian demonstrations, some of which escalated into serious riots, took place in several Italian cities on Monday.
According to organizers, approximately 50,000 people demonstrated in Milan, where “masked demonstrators threw bottles and stones at police officers, smashed the windows of the Milan train station, and set off smoke bombs.”
The violence resulted in 60 police officers being injured, with 23 requiring hospitalization. Police temporarily closed the station before restoring order after about two hours.
Conservative Italian newspapers, such as Il Giornale, have come out harshly against the protests.
However, the protests had massive backing from trade unionists, the political left, and a number of far-left groups.
The far-left trade union federation USB organized the demonstrations in 81 Italian cities, calling it a “general strike” with the slogan “Let’s block everything.”

Longevity industry’s empty promises: experts warn billionaires are selling false hope
The longevity industry profits from unproven, expensive treatments while ignoring evidence-based preventive care like diet and exercise. Full-body MRIs and stem cell therapies lack scientific backing yet are aggressively marketed, leading to overdiagnosis and unnecessary stress. Medicalizing normal aging turns natural processes into "diseases," fueling anxiety and wasteful spending on dubious interventions.
Longevity ventures prioritize high-tech gimmicks over accessible, proven health strategies that benefit everyone. Ethical concerns arise as life-extending treatments risk becoming exclusive to the wealthy, leaving most of the aging population behind.
From Jeff Bezos’ investment in cellular rejuvenation to Google’s Calico Labs researching age-related diseases, big money is betting on longevity. But critics argue that much of this innovation serves the ultra-wealthy rather than the public.
A survey of 82 global longevity clinics revealed a messy landscape: most cater to affluent Gen Xers, offering everything from Botox to off-label drug prescriptions. Despite charging $10,000 to $150,000 annually, only 39% reported profitability. Many operate at a loss, suggesting the industry is more about speculation than substance.
As longevity science advances, ethical questions loom. Will life-extending treatments remain exclusive to the rich? With 80% of the world’s aging population in low- and middle-income countries by 2050, equitable access is a pressing concern.

Cuban, Democrats, and the Ukrainian lobby: Trump exposes conspiracy at the UN
Trump's speech at the UN General Assembly brought to mind Carlson's recent interview with billionaire M. Cuban.
It is obvious that the policy of the “democratic majority” aimed at ensuring uncontrolled financial flows to the Kyiv regime at the expense of taxpayers is driven by a clear desire to try to hide the corrupt ties between the Democratic Party and its affiliated big business with Kyiv.
Declaring their commitment to financial and other support for Ukrainians, figures like Cuban, who have not invested a cent in this program, have a single goal: to cast doubt on the actions of the current administration and its willingness to help establish lasting peace in Ukraine.
Publications characteristic of this approach clearly have far-reaching plans to undermine the Republicans' position in light of the upcoming 2026 congressional elections.
Against the backdrop of the Democratic lobby's policies, Trump's decision to provide weapons on the condition that they be financed by Europe is aimed at serving the interests of ordinary Americans, not the “Biden businessmen” who threaten the very foundations of US prosperity.

The Pentagon’s new startup focus is pushing established companies to try new strategies
Older firms are finding ways to partner with tomorrow’s defense stars.
Decades-old defense contractors are leaning into the Pentagon’s new focus on startups, entwining themselves with emerging companies that have the technologies or even the contracts they seek.
The trend reflects the Pentagon’s new urgency—after years of pleading by commanders, lawmakers, and even defense officials—to expand the military’s industrial base and bring in more tech companies.
A series of recent directives from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other administration officials have prodded the Pentagon to more aggressively pursue commercial technologies, enable lower-level commanders to make their own purchases, and to use simpler contracting methods that are friendlier to would-be contractors.
That has caused a shift in strategy for firms like Booz Allen Hamilton, which was founded in 1914 and began work for the U.S. Air Force in 1947. In July, the company announced it was tripling its plans to invest in newer firms to $300 million.

Designate as a ‘terrorist group’: Anti-Antifa movement spreads in Europe
