KELLY: "What the hell? This is a federal official whom he should be cross examining and pressing and cynical of and pessimistic about. That's what you get paid to do. Not 'chum, chum, we Dartmouth alum can't stand Laura Ingraham.' All of it is so stomach turning."
CNN's audience was told they were watching a journalist press a federal official. It turns out it was the federal official who supplied the questions…

HHS spokesman Michael Caputo was quarantined from his own children during COVID and quite sure he was dying of cancer, but the church across the street couldn't give him Communion.
The religious people who couldn't go to Mass during lockdown? "That was me," Caputo says.
CAPUTO: "I went home immediately after I was diagnosed, and I started enduring chemo and radiation immediately.
"I lived across the street from my parish in East Aurora, New York, and I could not get the sacrament of the Eucharist, and I was quite sure I was dying.
"The window from the bedroom where I was quarantined against my children, I couldn't even see them, overlooked my parish. And the bells were right outside my window. They rang every day at noon, and I could not get the Eucharist.
"In the end, I resolved that with my priest, where he would bring the Eucharist over personally to my front porch, and we would do it outside."
Caputo says the leader of that policy was Tony Fauci.
