Early on, in 2017 (i think it was the end of the year, maybe) they were supposed to release the mainnet. Then on the day of announcing it when everyone was impatient to hear the news (which ended up being "oh we cant release mainnet"), i was also impatient and the devs were very vague about everything. When i said "when exactly will we know that this project is not a scam?", at that exact point they kicked me from the server. The community was pretty hostile towards me for being skeptical back then, called me a bad investor.

I guess they would not have appreciated my negative comments about not releasing the mainnet, so they needed to get rid of me.

There was no team. Adam Matlock and David fronted a scam and took out money. Nothing was ever close to being built and there was no team. Some members from Ionomy were involved to what extend I don’t know.

Unless we want out money stolen again probably not a good idea to get any team members back on board.

Wagerr is dead.

Any revival it means new visionary lead and a big tin a fresh new cash to blow on a VC start up.

Yep, I firmly believe that wagerr started and finished as a scam. They just did enough to make it look legit. I made 10 videos or so about how wagerr works. About 6 months before mah and Co left they asked me to take down my videos.. they said they were going in a different direction.. mah and the others should be ashamed of themselves. I dont want to think about not only the bitcoin I lost but my time. If mah was in the usa I think we'd take action. Some people have no morals. Plus he's a physician... what a complete joke.

Hi, I made almost 1000 posts on X about Wagerr back then. Today I deleted them all manually. The terrible investment I made on Wagger still have an impact on me. We did have a working product with V4. After all these years, I really wanted to know what happened with V5. Has it become impossible to finish V5 so they just quitted and disappeared? If they decide to scam us from the beginning, there should be no V4.

No wager can’t be forked from polymarket. What wager had that put it in another league ;) was its unlimited liquidity as the chain took the bets. Not peer to peer like polymarket.

Unlimited liquidity meant the end game would have been Wagerr being used as a wholesale book for other platforms to balance their own book. Obv there were other benefits too.

Peer to peer is nothing compared to the vision of Wagerr.
