Post Market Analysis
Nifty today opened gap up taking cues from the short covering rally which came in the US on Friday. Friday was options expiry day in the US and therefore the market there had a solid short covering rally.
Nifty took resistance at 23860 levels as mentioned in my intra day post. It fell towards 23650 levels but rebounded to close at 23753.
Tomorrow again Nifty is likely to face resistance at 23800 levels. Break of 23800 can take Nifty to 23860 and 23920 levels.
Break of 23630 levels can take Nifty towards 23580 and 23540 levels.
Bank Nifty faced resistance around 51400 levels. Tomorrow again this will act as resistance and 51000 as support.
Vix has fallen by 10% today so mostly sideways momentum likely to continue in the market.
