Some people say that Muslims nowadays are backward and need to do what the Christians did: distance themselves from their religion to become ‘advanced’.
My answer is that: Muslims are not backward because they are attached to their religion; we have fallen behind because of our detachment from our religion.
History has shown how advanced we were when we stuck closely to Islam.
Wealth is a blessing,not a curse—but only if it is acquired through halal means, your heart remains unattached to it, and you use it for good, not haram.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
إِنَّ هَذَا الْمَالَ حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ، فَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ بِحَقِّهِ، بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فِيهِ، وَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ، فَمَثَلُهُ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يَأْكُلُ وَلاَ يَشْبَعُ
“This wealth is (like) green and sweet (fruit), and whoever takes it without greed, Allah will bless it for him, but whoever takes it with greed, Allah will not bless it for him.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 81, Hadith 11]
This hadith reminds us that wealth earned through lawful means and without greed is truly a source of blessings.
True success comes when you give your best effort and leave the rest to Allah.

‘Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your preoccupation, and your life before your death.’ (Shu’ab al-Iman by Bayhaqi, 9767 Dorar.net)
Use your blessings before they are no more. Use today wisely before you regret tomorrow.
Ever felt the weight of your mistakes? Imagine the relief of a heart wiped clean—Allah is waiting.
No matter how heavy your heart feels with regrets, Allah’s mercy is far greater. It’s never too late to seek His forgiveness. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.” (Sahih Muslim)
SubhanAllah! What a Merciful Lord we have! HOW can we not have hope in His Mercy?!
Today is a fresh start—turn to Allah with a sincere heart. Repent, make du'a, and trust that His Mercy knows no bounds.

"Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves."
Surah Ar-Ra’d: 11
The first step is the hardest—but it’s also the most important. Stop overthinking. Stop waiting for the “right time.” Get up and do one small thing now. Write the email, start the task, make the plan—just start.
Because if you don’t take the first step, nothing changes. Take action today. The rest will follow.

Allah says:
وَٱصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
“Be patient, for Allah does not waste the reward of those who do good.”
[Surah Hud 11:115]
Keep praying, keep striving, keep enduring. The reward is from Allah.

Start by changing within, and watch your life evolve.
Allah says:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
‘Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.’
(Qur’an 13:11)
Identify one habit you want to refine—perhaps waking up for Fajr or praying the night prayer—and work on it daily. Then move on to the next habbit.
