The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded.”

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ narrates: I heard Rasulullah ﷺ saying:
‘My Ummah will be called on the Day of Resurrection with their limbs and faces shining from traces of Wudhu. So whoever amongst you can increase the area of his radiance should do so (i.e. by performing Wudhu regularly).’

Ibn Shihab informed me, saying: 'Ata bin Yazid narrated to me from Abu Ayyub: That the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
'Witr is a duty, and
whoever wants to pray witr with seven (rak'ahs), let him do so;
whoever wants to pray witr with five, let him do so,
whoever wants to pray witr with three, let him do so; and
whoever wants to pray witr with one, let him do so.'

“Make it a point to observe Tahajjud prayer, for:
(1) It was the practice of the pious before you.
(2) It is a means of gaining closeness to Allah,
(3) An expiation for sins
(4) and prevention from evil.”
