Journalist Antony Loewenstein, author of The Palestine Laboratory, warned that the US and Israel’s militarized operations in Gaza are being viewed by other nations as a model to follow.
“What’s happening in Gaza mass civilian deaths with no accountability is being normalized,” he told Al Jazeera. “Israel investigates itself and finds no fault, and that sets a dangerous precedent. Other countries may now feel emboldened to act similarly in their own conflicts.”

🇺🇳🇵🇸🇮🇱🚨 | Breaking News: UN Expert Accuses 60+ Firms Of Aiding Israeli Military And Settlement Expansion
A United Nations expert has accused over 60 companies including major arms and tech firms of enabling Israel’s settlement expansion and military operations in Gaza.
In a report released Monday, UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese called on these companies to end all business with Israel and urged legal accountability for executives involved in alleged violations of international law.

🇰🇿⚔️🧣 | Muslim-Majority Kazakhstan Bans Face Coverings
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a law on Monday prohibiting individuals from wearing clothing in public places that covers their faces, joining a trend in several Muslim-majority Central Asian countries to restrict forms of Islamic dress, such as the hijab, niqab and burqa.
The text of the law says clothing that "interferes with facial recognition" will be banned in public, with exemptions for medical purposes, in adverse weather conditions and at sporting and cultural events. The legislation, one in a series of wider amendments signed into law on Monday, does not explicitly mention religion or types of religious dress.
"Rather than wearing face-concealing black robes, it's much better to wear clothes in the national style, our national clothes vividly emphasize our ethnic identity, so we need to popularize them comprehensively." Tokayev was quoted as saying by Kazakh media earlier this year.
It is important to note that most photos of President Tokayev depict him wearing a Western suit.

Gaza’s healthcare system has collapsed under total Israeli blockade and ongoing bombardment. This week, Al Shifa Medical Complex the Strip’s largest hospital shut down its last dialysis machines due to a lack of fuel, putting hundreds of patients at immediate risk of death.

Hospitals bombed, supplies blocked, and electricity cut officials say the collapse is deliberate, part of a war waged through siege as much as strikes.
