Dear Anu, it will stay across the anastomosis.All peristaltic waves will be cranial to caudal.So it cannot migrate.But it will be fixed to nose.That is self retaining for you.

primary prevention as no arrythmis before . But cardia parameters predict a strong chance for Ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation , hence primary prevention. Patient already had an episode of malignant arrythmia the this defibrillator is for secondary prevention
