TAKE-PROFIT STRATEGY
We have two opposite problems in investing and taking profits:
- sell too early: you can sell the token early and make a more significant profit;
- sell too late: you expected bigger growth and didn't sell a single token in profit
First of all, let's agree that profit is always profit. If you did profit even 10-20%, it is excellent. If you have $100,000 in the token, it's good to have $10,000-$20,000 in profit. Right? So it all depends on your bag size, but profit is still profit, and if you have profit, it's excellent!
Based on this, I usually follow the strategy:
1. When I buy the token, I think about taking profit points: depending on MC and project size and many other things, it can be from 2x to 10x;
2. Setting take profits orders: I use 1inch limit orders because it works well;
3. I sell in small parts from 2x to 10x and always keep like 10% for moon bag to not feel the FOMO if the tokens pump too much;
4. I set a 30-40% limit on orders to buy blue chips I am looking to accumulate;
5. I move 20% of all my profits to real-world assets. I am withdrawing my profit and buying real estate and some indexes on stock markets.
I love real estate because it secures no-risk income for my life-spending.
