🚩 Red Flag: Concentrated Token Distribution
If most of the token supply is held by the top 10 wallets, it’s a red flag. This means one or a few large holders can dump their tokens at any time, crashing the price. Ideally, no single wallet should control more than 2-3% of the total tokens.
🔎 Verify Token Authenticity
Many tokens have similar tickers (clones), so always check the contract address on official resources. Tools like Dexscreener can help you verify the contract.
📈 Monitor Early Activity
High activity at a token’s launch is a good sign. Traders tend to quickly jump on promising memecoins. If the launch is quiet and lacks excitement, it may indicate low community interest and poor growth potential.
👨💻 Evaluate Developer Behavior
It’s safer to invest in tokens where developers have already sold their holdings. If developers still hold significant amounts, they can dump them at any moment, tanking the price. A user on the Tron network (address: TGrS7QNCf85X2B6ddvGZY2MF9VwvFn6XAE) was supposed to send funds to THcTxQi3N8wQ13fwntF7a3M88BEi6q1bu8, but accidentally sent them to TMStAjRQHDZ8b3dyXPjBv9CNR3ce6q1bu8.
An hour later, 90% of the funds were returned, and within four more hours, the remaining 10% were also refunded.
That’s how the Chinese blockchain works—if you scam the wrong person, you can’t even leave a bounty. I wouldn’t be surprised if the scammers ended up sending a bonus as compensation for their actions.
