What can I do if my life has gotten intensely boring and I have nothing to do (I am 17 years old)? by Ritisha Vimal https://www.quora.com/What-can-I-do-if-my-life-has-gotten-intensely-boring-and-I-have-nothing-to-do-I-am-17-years-old/answer/Ritisha-Vimal?share=88b86a7b&srid=Y7rw

It is difficult to unravel the mystery of life. It is difficult to understand the true meaning and purpose of our lives. It is difficult to know if what we are doing is right or wrong. It is difficult to feel certain about who we are and what we are doing. The reason for all this is, life only makes sense when looked at from the future into the past.Only when we reflect on what we have been doing over the past few years; how we have learnt and evolved from knowing nothing to knowing so much, do we really get a sense of who we are and what we have been doing. Life makes sense only by arranging our past in a logical order. This is the reason why so many people go about doing things that don’t add meaning and value to their lives. They waste enormous amounts of time and energy in trying to become what they are not meant to be. If only they can reflect more on their past and learn from their successes and failures, they can begin to understand themselves better.Reflect on this. Everything you know about yourself comes from a reflection of your past. Everything you have done has accumulated to become you. If you had to plan yourself to where you are now, I am sure you would not have arrived. The whole learning process of life is backwards. So what would you say to your younger self if you had an opportunity to write a letter from your future to your past? What if you had a chance to give 10 commandments to your younger self to follow diligently and at all times. What words of wisdom would you share with yourself? The wordings might be different but we can be sure that most of us would put a list something like this:
Be ruthlessly honest with yourself at all times
Be humble enough to learn from your mistakes
Have more trust and faith in yourself and in people around you
Find one higher purpose that can bring meaning to your life
Be kind, loving and compassionate
Believe in yourself, more than in anything else
Laugh, sing and dance a little more
Dedicate at least one hour of your day for exercise, prayer and meditation
Strive towards what you want and learn to enjoy what you have
Life is short, celebrate every single moment of it
There are two ways to be happy. Either lower your expectations or double your efforts to exceed your expectations.

Good evening all!
I'm sure most of us would identify with the above lines. Life is like a rollercoaster, with its ups and downs. And nearly all "downs" teach us something quintessential, something which makes us stronger.
It is said that every challenge is an opportunity in disguise.
Is that true?
If it is, lets share with each other how each one of us overcame some failure or disappointment or hurt in our lives, and emerged out of it stronger.

15 Easy Tips That'll Improve Your Life!
The modern rat race can cause us great stress and leave us with little to no time to take care of our health and bodies. However, there are quick and easy ways to improve our lifestyle, improve our mood and improve our health, and they only take about 60 seconds each. Even if you only turn some of these into habits, you’ll still enjoy a happy and healthier life with little effort and time.
improve your life
1. Take a deep breath
We all get nervous and stressed, whether it be because of work, traffic or even household chores. In our most stressful moments, it’s vital to remember that we have an innate relaxation mechanism. Taking deep, controlled breaths for 60 seconds when feeling stressed or tired can completely alter your state of mind. Deep breaths lower your blood pressure, slows down the production of stress hormones and helps to ease anxiety and internal disquiet.
2. Hug someone you love
Hugging feels great on its own, but it also has scientifically-proven health benefits, such as lowering blood pressure and stabilizing the heart rate. Hugging releases dopamine - a natural painkiller and can reduce cortisol levels (a stress hormone). A hug can give you more mental energy, and help you handle most obstacles.
3. Laugh and smile
There’s a reason laughter has a reputation for being the best medicine. It’s one of the body’s natural painkillers and shares several physiological functions with exercising. William Fry, one of the pioneers in laughter research, claims that using a rowing machine for ten minutes exercises the heart to the same extent as one minute of laughter. Laughter also improves your memory and burns calories. If you’re feeling down or even somewhat depressed, a little smile (even a fake one) can change your mood.
4. Eat some dark chocolate
Isn’t it great to know that some delicious treats are actually good for us (in moderation)? Dark chocolate is beneficial for your health, it lowers blood pressure, raises the levels of “good cholesterol” (HDL) and reduces the levels of “bad cholesterol” (LDL). Dark chocolate is also known to be beneficial to the cardiovascular system, and some evidence indicates that it can prevent diabetes and even keep your skin healthier.

5. Stand up whenever you can
Most of us spend our days sitting down: Working, driving and watching TV are just a few of things we do while sat in a seat. A recent research paper found that prolonged sessions of sitting can induce psychological distress. Another study has found that women who sit for 10 hours a day or more are at a higher risk of heart and cardiovascular disease when compared to those sitting for only 5 hours a day. Even standing up for a few seconds will improve your circulation significantly.
6. Wash your hands
You may think it’s obvious, but this simple and quick action can protect your health more than you can fathom. Most people wash their hands before eating or after visiting the restroom, but washing your hands with soap more times a day will reduce your chances of getting sick by 20-30%. Remember to moisturize your hands from time to time too.
7. Wear a seatbelt
As trivial as it may seem, this easy action takes about five seconds and saves thousands of lives every year. Think about it: You’re not climbing Everest or running a marathon. You’re simply reaching back, and pulling on a belt. This is particularly important when you have children in the car. So don’t be lazy and think about comfort first, it’s better to “waste” ten seconds than risk your life.
8. Add cinnamon to your breakfast
Cinnamon has a variety of medicinal properties, including helping with diabetes by reducing blood sugar levels. Cinnamon is also beneficial in fighting obesity, lowering bad cholesterol levels, and it even warms up the body on cold days. You can add cinnamon to your breakfast by mixing it in your yogurt, oats, cereals and even your coffee.

9. Wear sunscreen
It doesn’t matter if you live in a sunny place or not, UV light is still there, and it’s stil

Stop letting yourself depreciate. You are not a car! This vehicle that you have, called "you" lasts much longer and only gets better with time. Stop being tired and get those wheels spinning in your mind. Your value depends solely upon what your expectations are for your life. What is your worth? What do you have to offer? Don't hold back. Open up your door and get into the driver's seat of the opportunities awaiting you.
You are unique and were created for a reason. Stop hanging around for just the season. Yes let go and be willing to be tossed around by the winds of uncertainty to learn what you are made of! Learn how strong you can be with challenges. You will find out that you have something special that no one else could see because it runs deep. Stop waiting for someone to approve you. Approve and start to improve your next moves, ideas and creations. Fight for you because you were born to win. Believe The Champion in You. -Adrian Starks

It was February 19, 2017, at 3 am. I sprung out of bed and little did I know that this would be the day that my life would change forever.
I heard my soul speak to me for the very first time, and I experienced what I now know is a quantum leap.
For the past five years, I had been battling a very debilitating autoimmune condition called hashimotos hypothyroidism. My self-image was deteriorating day after day as I endured weight gain, pain, and crippling fatigue – I felt half alive. Since the diagnosis, I began a quest to cure myself, seeking the right doctor, the right pill, or the right diet that would cure me – but to no avail.
My body had been desperately trying to communicate with me, but I could not hear it until its cries became a scream. It was shouting at me to STOP!
Then it hit me.
I found the root cause of my troubles. My own body was attacking itself because it was starving for LOVE. A battle was going on inside of me, because I was chasing perfection, and I created such a broken body image. I had sabotaged my health because I neglected to appreciate my body, and a lack of gratitude alienated my soul. I was the prisoner of a perfectionist paradigm.
I had mindlessly created a bad habit of focusing only on my flaws every time I looked in the mirror, to the point that I dreaded it. All I saw was my imperfect self. Can you relate?
But this one morning, something changed because I woke up and miraculously felt healed and overflowing with energy. I looked in the mirror and smiled as a wave of peace rushed over me.
I wondered what had caused this and why so all of a sudden? As I reflected, the answers came to me on how I had discovered the deep reservoirs of love and healing power within me.
For the past two months, I had been diligently writing my book titled “Magnetic Love”. My intent was to guide others to discover themselves and find true love of self and in relationships, but also how to master their ability to attract anything they truly desire. I had the immense privilege to meet Bob Proctor at the end of 2016.
I had immersed myself in his teachings and he kindly endorsed my book. Little did I know that I would experience this healing and a transformation that I had intended for my readers.
I had been planting healing seeds in my subconscious mind for months, and on this morning, they bloomed into a beautiful garden of self-love.
Feed love to your body and mind until you heal – and if you’re not getting results – increase the dose. Our body is a faithful servant to our mind, and your soul is perfectly divine and yields a goldmine of healing power.
Get in vibrational harmony with yourself, and I promise you will transform your life.
Whether you want to lose weight, fall in love, or create more wealth – the answer lies in your awareness and habits. I became a magnet for what I wanted and you can too once you discover the missing key – and what’s holding you back will surprise you - Jennie Lynn
Believe in the power inside you that can set you free once you decide to "unleash" it. This power is optimism. You are not defined by your circumstances. You are defined by how you deal with them. You may have suffered a defeat but you can't be defeated. We must learn how to get out of our own way and stop letting the shadows of our past mistakes, failures or setbacks keep us in the dark. We all get lost sometimes or taken off course but keep moving and you will find your way through the tunnel of fear and doubt. You can make it! Believe the Champion in You. -Adrian Starks

l harmful. Avoiding the #1 cause of skin cancer takes no effort and very little time – simply put on sunscreen before you leave the house.
10. Use the stairs
It doesn’t matter if we’re late, busy or even just lazy, most of us don’t’ engage in physical exercise in our free time. The modern world doesn’t give us many chances to walk: we get in the car or on the bus, use the elevator and sit at our desks. This is why it is vital that we take every opportunity to exercise. Instead of waiting for the elevator, take the stairs and burn some extra calories. It will also help you avoid stiff muscles and joint pain.
11. Take a break from staring at the screen
If you have a desk job or are just an avid technology lover, it’s safe to say you spend a lot of time in front of a screen. Staring at the screen for so many hours is bad for your eyes, so it is crucial to take frequent breaks. The best method is the “20-60-20”: every 20 minutes look away from the screen at an object 60 feet away for 20 seconds. If you can, take a moment to walk around the office.
12. Add lemon to your water
Adding a slice of lemon to your water is not only refreshing, but also has many health benefits. Lemons are a superfood and are considered to be one of the most efficient detox agents, making them a great addition to your diet.
improve your life
13. Clean up your desk
It doesn’t matter how tidy you keep your desk, it still gets covered with germs. Take a minute to wipe down leftovers and crumbs, which are the main source of bacterial contamination in your workplace. Use an antibacterial wipe on your keyboard and mouse, they are the most used items on your desk that come in contact with your hands regularly.
14. Chew some gum
Researchers from the University of Swinburne, Australia found that chewing gum improves your levels of alertness and reduces stress. Behavioral specialists recommend chewing gum before an important meeting, a job interview, and while driving. The reason is that chewing gum tricks the body into thinking it’s eating, something we associate with being safe and having nothing to fear.
15. Elevate your feet
60 seconds of lying down with your legs raised up and leaning against a wall energizes the body as much as a half-hour nap. Rest your arms at the sides of your body and remain like that while taking slow, deep breaths. Studies have shown that this position helps the blood in your legs to flow back to your chest and head.

I remember a time, when I had lots of options and choices. I could do whatever I wanted, I could think whatever I wanted and I had a great sense of freedom or so I thought...
~
The truth is, I had too many options and choices and I thought I could do everything and in the end I didn't do much, have much or move towards what I really wanted.
~
I think most of us live in that cycle where we have freedom of choice, but no real freedom at all, or happiness or success.
~
In my case something had to change, because whatever the hell I was or most likely wasn't doing, just wasn't working...
~
So I decided to commit my entire being to a single purpose and vision and ultimately, that one move took away every other option and gave me a great sense of clarity and power.
~
I no longer had the option to entertain fear and doubt or feel uncertain. I had to make this work and failure was not an option.
~
I didn't have the option of wasting my time or entertaining other ideas or scenarios, I had to create my vision and if it didn't fit into my vision for my life... I simply removed it.
~
I didn't have the option of hanging around people who didn't see my vision or want to support me on my journey, I could no longer allow my energy to be dispersed.
~
I no longer had the option of wasting my money, every dollar I could find had to go towards building my empire and creating my vision for humanity.
~
The trick is, to not to give yourself too many options, you tend to do more damage than good when you think that you have lots of choices and options.
~
In reality all you have is a limited amount of time and limited resources to fulfil your life purpose and create your vision.
~
Making a commitment to whatever it is you want, will automatically remove many options (mostly the negative ones) from your life and remove much of what goes on in your head... so you can be more focused and more purposeful in all that you do.
~
Once you remove all the negative and harmful choices you can make, you will find out very quickly that you really don't have that many options in the first place and a great example of that is walking into the supermarket... lots of choices, but not many good ones!

Allow yourself to feel and experience each and every moment in your life.
•
Without a healthy understanding and acceptance of the moments that make up your life you'll always find it hard to grow and move on.
•
Time will always pass and the good days often lead into the not so good days and sometimes you're going to experience things you wish with your heart of hearts you never had to experience ever....you can't always change the things you experience but you can learn accept them.
•
The sooner you can allow each moment to touch your soul and experience it at its highest level you can start move onto the next part of your unique journey.
•
Happiness isn't always about loving the times when you had the perfect set of circumstances, it's often about accepting each moment and unique experience for what it is and allowing yourself to live in that moment before the universe presents you with your next set of unique circumstances.
