It’s like you have this razor thin margin of performance where it’s super useful for watching videos, using google docs, and making Skype calls. But don’t even think about playing minecraft on it. The best netbooks had SSDs and flash memory before it was widespread. So- remarkably- you’d see better performance for exactly those tasks compared to a full size laptop (until SSDs became common).
