Vampires (BAT-264803) are a collection of dynamic NFTs on MultiversX. There are 10k Vampires in total at any given moment. They can be obtained by making a donation of 1 EGLD.
What are Villagers? How many are there, and how much do they cost?
Villagers (SAT-a42757) are a collection of NFTs on MultiversX. There can be a maximum of 20k Villagers, but we expect the final mint number to be lower. They can be obtained by making a donation of 1 EGLD.
What is the $BLOOD token? What is the total supply, and how much is it worth? How can I get more $BLOOD?
$BLOOD (BLOOD-59a831) token is a fungible token on MultiversX. There is no total supply, as it is mintable and burnable to interact with Vampires and Blood. Initially, there will be 50m tokens pre-minted to fuel Staking in a team wallet. In the first 6 months, you can obtain $BLOOD by Staking Villagers. As more modules and implementations will be added to the platform, you will be able to obtain $BLOOD through blood donation, referring recurring donors, completing various tasks on the platform, staking, and other game elements. $BLOOD does not have a set value; if there is a value later, it will be determined by the community through trading.
Is there staking available for Villagers?
Staking for Villagers will be available on Exrond.com for 90 days in a pool generating 1 $BLOOD per Villager NFT daily.
What does Vampires Epoch 0 mean, and what extra benefits does it have? Will the status be lost if we list/sell them?
Epoch 0 is an Early Adopter status with a few differences. Essentially, it's a special status that attests to the fact that the Vampire was minted in the first minting epoch. This title is transferable and is not lost if the Vampire is listed/sold. Furthermore, it transfers to the buyer. The only way that this status is lost is if your Vampire falls asleep/it's not fed once this feature becomes active on the platform (approximately 6 months after minting).
When does the minting reopen after these 24 hours?
The minting for Vampires EP0 is open for one epoch and then suspended for another ten epochs (10 days). After this interval, it is reopened and remains open until full minting.
The minting for Villagers remains open from the beginning until 30 epochs after full minting at Vampires (+30 days).
How much $BLOOD do we receive for each donation?
There is no definitive answer because several variables can influence it. An indicative answer is around 100 $BLOOD.
How do we prove that we have donated blood to receive $BLOOD?
Scheduling and validation of the donation will be directly available on the Sange.ro platform where you can directly connect a MultiversX wallet.
Can $BLOOD be traded?
Yes, it can be traded like any other fungible token on MultiversX.
If I buy enough $BLOOD for a Vampire to survive for 1 year, can I just leave it in my wallet without needing to do anything else?
There will be a smart contract where you can credit a Vampire with enough $BLOOD for any period without the need for an intervention from you.
How long does a Vampire live before it dies?
A Vampire falls asleep in the first epoch when it runs out of blood/$BLOOD. It remains in your possession, and you can wake it up.
If I forget to feed it, how do I bring it back to life?
It comes back to life by biting/consuming a Villager, at which point a supply of $BLOOD is credited for 20 days.
Is there a possibility that I might lose it completely from my wallet?
If your Vampire remains asleep for a longer period of time without being woken up, there is a mathematical possibility that someone else might feed an awake Vampire with a Villager and turn it into a Vampire. The chance of this happening depends on several variables: the number of asleep Vampires in the collection, the sleep period of your Vampire, the age of your Vampire, and others. In case this happens, your NFT receives a burn, and another Vampire is minted. As long as your Vampire is awake, there is 0% chance of this happening.

Nine digital currency exchanges allegedly aiding and abetting cybercriminals had their domains seized by the United States FBI and Ukrainian law enforcement. Each reportedly offered entirely anonymous digital currency exchange services to their users, skirting many of the rules and regulations required of licensed crypto exchanges.

Deloitte announced it has integrated KILT Protocol technology, a Polkadot parachain, to enable the issuance of reusable digital credentials to its customers. In the statement, Deloitte said the standard and “typically inefficient” processes, including KYC and KYB certificates being issued on paper, and identity verification requests requiring multiple data points when only one is needed, often create “extra work in the process.“

An unidentified issue on Ethereum’s Beacon Chain led to an issue with transaction finality for nearly half an hour on May 11. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a new bill banning central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) in the state. During a recent press conference, DeSantis highlighted concerns about the potential use of CBDCs to control and surveil Americans: "Anyone with their eyes open could see the danger this type of an arrangement would mean for Americans who want to exercise their financial independence and would like to be able to conduct business without having the government know every single transaction they're making in real time." DeSantis also claimed that the Biden administration is studying CBDCs to eliminate other types of digital assets like cryptocurrencies.

What is the chance that a Villager will become a Vampire?
Any Villager consumed by an awake Vampire either feeds it for a long period of time (~100 epochs), or has a chance of turning into a Vampire itself. The chance of this happening depends on several variables: the number of asleep Vampires in the collection, the sleep period of your Vampire, the age of your Vampire, and others. As long as there are no asleep Vampires in the collection, the chance is 0%, and it reaches 50% if 99% of Vampires are asleep.
If my Vampire dies and I bring it back to life, does it start at age 0?
Yes, if your Vampire falls asleep when it wakes up, its age is 0, and its birth date is in that epoch.
How do you assign value based on age/epochs?
It depends on demand and supply, and future utility in the platform.
Where can we see the age of each Vampire?
In the dApp at launch and most likely on marketplaces. Any Epoch 0 has EP0 in the name until it falls asleep for the first time.

❓ Did you know that… in the unfortunate situation of losing too much rating score, a validator will be jailed, which means that they will be taken out of the shards, they will not participate in consensus, and thus they will not earn any more rewards? 💡
Currently, the rating limit at which a node will be jailed is 10. The jailed validator can be reinstated using an unjailing transaction. This transaction effectively represents the payment of a fine. After the transaction is successfully executed, the validator will return to the network in the next epoch, and treated as if the validator is brand new, with the rating reset to 50.
Each unjailing process requires a transaction to be sent to the Staking Smart Contract. These transactions must contain all the required information, encoded properly, and must provide a high enough gas limit to allow for successful execution.
