Bware Labs Expands As Distributed Network Of API Providers And Bridges Its INFRA Token To MultiversX
After a long history of collaborating with the Bware Labs team, we are excited to see them take a significant leap forward in decentralizing an often overlooked blockchain aspect, API infrastructure.
Recently launched, their Blast protocol allows infrastructure providers to permissionlessly join and compute resources to a global pool that serves users and developers with high-performance and censorship-resistant access to reading and writing data on blockchain.
To be able to scale their network of relayers, Bware uses an incentivization mechanism through their native token INFRA. A portion of the INFRA token supply will be bridged as an ESDT to our mainnet in the next few days, followed by listing on xExchange by May 30.

The MultiversX keystore is a JSON file that holds a mnemonic (seed phrase), encrypted with a password (as chosen by the user). Thus, the keystore provides users with a reliable and convenient method for managing their hot wallets and protecting their assets.
Keystore files created with the first major version of the web wallet (available prior February 14th, 2023) hold the encrypted secret key, instead of the encrypted mnemonic (as the new keystore files do).

The posted screenshot is dated Jan. 24, 2010, a full four months before Bitcoin Pizza Day — when Bitcoin developer Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10,000 Bitcoin for two pizzas in what is widely considered to be the first real-world purchase made using Bitcoin.

Many members of the crypto community believe Ledger’s latest seed phrase recovery feature is a bad idea. Ledger Recover is a subscription service that allows users to utilize an additional layer of protection for their private keys. This service employs a technique where the user’s seed phrase is divided into three encrypted fragments, each sent to different external entities. Once these fragments are combined and decrypted, they can be used to reconstruct the original seed phrase.

On May 16, the European Union states gave the final nod to the world's first comprehensive set of rules to regulate crypto assets, known as the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. The rules, expected to be implemented from 2024, require firms that want to issue, trade, and safeguard crypto assets, tokenized assets, and stablecoins in the 27-country bloc to obtain a license.
The scope of the legislation covers a wide array of digital assets, including utility tokens, asset-referenced tokens, and stablecoins. The rules also address market abuse, insider trading, and manipulative behavior in the cryptocurrency space.

OpenAI recently leveled the playing field in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots with a notable update to its ChatGPT model: Internet connectivity. This feature's potential is vast, making the model able to surf the web and get the latest information on almost anything. In a side-by-side comparison by Decrypt, the three chatbots - ChatGPT, Bard, and Bing - were asked to provide the current price of Bitcoin. While ChatGPT provided a near-accurate response using Coinbase as a reference, Bard offered a result based on its own sources, and Bing referred to Google and CoinMarketCap data, even including the USD to Brazilian real exchange rate, as the query was made from Brazil.

Ripple recently announced the launch of the Ripple CBDC Platform, a solution for central banks, governments, and financial institutions to issue their central bank digital currency. Ripple CBDC's strategic advisor Antony Welfare took to Twitter to mention four countries that have been announced and will likely utilize the platform: Palau, Bhutan, Montenegro, and China. According to Ripple, more than 90% of countries are exploring, developing, and implementing Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) to increase financial inclusion and lower the cost and risk of domestic and cross-border payment processes.

A malicious proposal allowed an unidentified attacker to take over Tornado Cash, opening the floodgates to a potential treasury drain. The attacker floated a malicious proposal that hid a code function that granted them fake votes that can now be used to handle some aspects of Tornado Cash, such as torn (TORN) tokens held in the main governance contract or withdrawal of locked torn tokens. Torn prices slumped as much as 40% as a result of the governance attack.
