Reliance head and Asia’s top billionaire Mukesh Ambani said during the company’s annual general meeting, that JFS, which launched early this year, will explore “pathbreaking features” including the nascent blockchain technology. The subsidiary aims to consolidate its payment structure to further drive digital adoption in India with “a ubiquitous offering for both consumers and merchants”, Ambani noted. Additionally, Ambani also announced a partnership with the world's largest asset manager, BlackRock, with both companies owning 50% stake each in the newly launched entity – Jio Black Rock.

Lufthansa, one of the largest airline groups in Europe, has launched its nonfungible token (NFT) loyalty program on the Polygon Network. The program will allow passengers to turn their trips into NFTs that can unlock rewards, such as miles and business lounge vouchers. According to the announcement, airline passengers can scan their boarding passes using the app and exchange them for NFT trading cards.

The attack, which took place around September 4, drained funds over the blockchain networks Ethereum, BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain/BSC), Polygon and Bitcoin, the FBI said in a statement published on Wednesday last week. The statement listed 33 wallet addresses believed to be involved in the attack, and officially attributed it to North Korea’s Lazarus Group (also known as APT38).

The hacker shared a malicious link to an alleged free commemorative nonfungible token (NFT) available, enticing victims to connect their wallets before ultimately stealing all their funds.
