Greeks! They knew how to live: for that purpose it is necessary to keep bravely to the surface, the fold and the skin; to worship appearance, to believe in forms, tones, and words, in the whole Olympus of appearance! Those Greeks were superficial - from profundity!

You can compare & contrast Celtic, Germanic, Greco-Roman, etc. religion all you want but stop saying they are the same. That's as absurd as saying German and Roman culture is the same. Do you see why universal thought destroys individual identity?

His name is Wotan, he dwells in all of us who are made of German flesh and spirit. From the high Alps down through the valleys of the Rhineland and across the seas and shores where we wandered. Through vineyards and forests, in the hunt and the harvest. He is the storm, the wildfire, the roar and cacophony of battle. But also the fireside tales and bedtime stories read by Grand Mother or Grand Father.

A nice viking figurine I own. If you can’t carve an idol or have no Pagan artisan to commission one you can use figurines like this, at least for ancestor veneration.

I plan on writing more about the Axial Age as well as some of it’s precursors. It’s a topic too often ignored by modern Pagans despite it’s relevance to our struggles today.

Xenophanes is an example of a degenerate who, full of ressentimental rage, wants to reform the world to fit his ideas. His criticism of the Gods not being abstract ideas as well as clear envy of classic poets is very typical of the subversive type too. In his slander Xenophanes used the same tactic many fake Pagans turn to today. Sacred lore can’t be sacred because it doesn’t fit their degenerate morals, hence they try to either rewrite or desacralize it.

Lets get back to Xenophanes’ criticism of Homer and Hesiod. According to his both poets as well as the Hellenic tradition itself. Did not depict Gods as perfect ideas they should be. In myth they they can act, at times emotionally, they can die and be born etc. Xenophanes saw that as false. It’s the criticism Plato will parrot later as well as many anti-Pagans today.

Xenophanes criticized traditional ethnic religions for…having traditional ethnic Gods! He wrote that:

Ethiopians say that their gods are snub-nosed and black;
Thracians that theirs are are blue-eyed and red-haired.

Indeed Ethiopoan Gods are Ethiopian and Thracian ones are Thracian. Today it’s called ethnic religions and once it was the only type, but thanks to Xenophanes and other subverters this is no longer the case as we see people all over the world praying to a jewish rabbi. Yet the latter often cope hard about him actually being a member of their race, which shows that ethnic spirituality is just natural to humans.

In my analysis of Axial Age I decided to start with Xenophanes. The latter was one of the first traitors who went against the Gods and led to abrahamic monotheism. Let's start with Xenophanes’ biography. Of all things we know about the man there is one fact of crucial importance. Xenophanes was a reject of the Hellenic society. Diogenes Laërtius wrote that he was “banished from his native city”. In Xenophanes’ own words he “tossed about the Greek land”.

A wondering subversive shun from home, he travelled as a poet. In fact poetry was the reason he got exiled.

The key ingredient which ensures the survival of a race is its will to self-preservation and the persistent and unshakable folk consciousness that stems from a mutual indigenous belief. A cohesive belief MUST be established before an iron will and a collective consciousness of the folk can begin to develop.

Any form of religion or belief system that does not spring naturally from the soul of the race—that is not born of the blood—will ultimately destroy the threads which link men with nature and kinsmen with kinsmen. А race without a mythos and belief of the blood drifts aimlessly throughout history.

Xenophanes was a true forerunner of Axial Age thought. His ideas ended up shaping platonism with it’s monistic and idealistic view of the Gods. Xenophanes also inspired christianity and islam with their de-humanized ganz andere divine.

Xonophanes also denied reality as illusion of senses, just like buddhists do today.
According to pseudo-Plutarch Xenophanes “declares that the senses are deceptive”. Aristocles wrote that “they think that sense perceptions and appearances must be rejected… or at one earlier time Xenophanes…said something of this sort”

Speaking of modern subversions there was a relatively recent case of almost word for word Xenophanes’ criticism of Paganism. One about Odin supposedly being cucked. Tom Rowsell (Survive the Jive) responded to said criticism by basically saying that myth are not real, instead of pointing out that the source of this not being legitimate since it’s just a retelling of Odyssey with Germanic Gods just used as stand-ins.
STJ is also known for being a friend of platonism which is an Axial Age heresy greatly influenced by Xenophanes.
Make your own conclusions.

With anti ethnic faith attitude like that is it really any wonder that Xenophanes is respected by Islamists? He is indeed very similar to them in his views on non-anthropomorphic, universal divinity. According to Diogenes, Xenophanes wrote poetry “in epic meter, as well as elegiacs and iambics attacking Hesiod and Homer and denouncing what they said about the gods”. Keep in mind that the two were considered classics even by Ancient Greeks and any true Hellene knew both by heart.
But Xenophanes though himself better than Homer or Hesiod. He thought he alone understood the nature of the Gods and went against his people’s traditions. What was his criticism all about? Let’s take a look…

What people call "White Privilege" is simply the benefit which Whites are entitled to by living in our own societies created by our folk for our folk. This is what they hate, and this is what they are tricking Whites into surrendering. Imagine being so disgusting and weak that you have to resort to socially engineering and brainwashing people into giving up their own birthright.

Honoring or venerating your ancestors and gods is a natural aspect of almost all ancient cultural traditions. Normally, we aim to bring honor to those who have qualities that are exemplary and that we find admirable.

If you're venerating those who have no honor, you're missing the point. If you're honoring something to be edgy, you may never get the point.
