A place for Aryan (European) Folkish Pagans
Paparuda ritual depicted by Uroš Predić
Читать полностью…It’s possible that Perperuna ritual has some connection with Slavic Thunder God Perun who could summon rain.
Also peperuda means butterfly in Bulgarian. This butterfly connection is alluded to in one of the songs performed during the ritual which goes as follows (in my translation):
Пеперуда лятала (butterfly flew)
как са й Бога молила (and begged God)
Дай ми, Боже, дребен дъжд (give me some rain, o God)

Gods above! What a glorious time to be alive!
Though the darkness crowds around us, we tread the blessed path.
This is an age of Heroes. We are laying the foundation stones of Pagan Europe's Return.
Pagan Revivalism shall set our Folk free
It is good to remember those who fought and died to keep our religion alive during the long centuries of Christian persecution. The constant effort to imitate the bravery and sacrifice of these men and women builds our character and makes us better people.

Remember: The people who write this stupid stuff aren't themselves stupid. They're liars and they think you're stupid.

Have you heard of Erik Klasson and Ragvald Odenskarl? Both men were 15th century Swedes executed for openly declaring themselves Pagans, but their stories are even more interesting.
In 1492 Erik was executed for "sorcery", theft and heresy. He was originally a servant of Hans Persson on the island of Värmdö. When Erik was put before the court in Stockholm he had declared that he had sworn himself to Odin to escape poverty, and that he stole from his master a few times. In Erik's case he was being judged for his Paganism but officially judged for sorcery making it ambiguous to determine whether it was a witch trial or trial of heresy. In the eyes of the Church, native European Gods were demons and even though Erik himself meant Odin when he said "Oden", the Church translated this as "Satan" and thus Erik was judged as a devil-worshipper.
The second case was that of Ragvald Odenskarl ("Odin's Man", "Odin's Jarl"). Ragvald was put on trial on the 27th October 1484 for having stolen from Skepptuna Church twice, Markims Church, Orkesta Church and Vallentuna Church. Ragvald himself declared that he had served Odin for seven years and was not a Christian but a follower of the old way.
One of the evil being from the black circle is a demon called Strygalldwir. The latter attacks Corwin at one point and before the battle they have a little chat during which Corwin says: Misli, gammi gra'dil, Strygalldwir,
This language is Shelta Thari, an esoteric speech of travelling tinkers of Britain. The phrase is translated as: "Be off, and bad luck to you, Strygalldwir".
In Welsh tradition, the afterlife is Annwfn (Annuvin). There is also the island of Gwales off Pembrokeshire (South West Wales) where Brân the blessed and his court stayed for 80 years with an abundance of food and happiness.

The main hero, prince Corwin recovers and travels to the world of chivalry and magic inspired by Arthurian legends and Medieval literature. There he meets a courageous knight Lance and his old enemy Ganelon. The former is of course a reference to sir Lancelot and the latter is taken from The Song of Roland since he too betrayed his lord (Corwin himself).

Will be interesting since I only found one brief mention of this on English net.
I don’t like petty internet drama, but I have a moral duty to speak out against evil where I recognize it. I used to follow and share this man’s content, but today it turned out that his views are rather anti-Folkish.
I don’t want a raid on his channel or anything like that, no need to support me in the comments either. Just read what he wrote and ask yourself whether this is something a Folkish i.e. real, traditional Pagan would write?
Overall, it’s a shame to see that a well-educated guy like him fell for and began promoting universalism and treating his Ancestral ways like a mr.potato head toy applying elements of foreign belief where he wants.
Modern hair cutting (postrizhiny) ritual

Postrizhiny
In Slavic tradition, postrizhiny was a ritual of a cutting hair of a child. The one who cut the hair became "postrizhiny father" and received gifts from parents. The guests also gave gifts to the child, mostly tasty food or clothes. The feast after the ritual could range from simple family dinner to a major celebration with music and dancing.
Two Pagan men, Titus and Hadrian, killed 1,680,000 jews, destroyed their leadership (Sadducees) and temple, and put them into a tight genetic bottleneck (350 individuals), which causes them to be afflicted by disease both mental and physical.
Name one christian ruler who did more against them ... I'll wait
A new linguistics paper predicts PIE is way older than previously assumed, and tries to reconcile their model with bad data from the southern arc paper about a CHG origin for PIe resulting in bad data out and a PIE=CHG conclusion. They ignore Sredny Stog which is STILL old enough for their novel posterior dating (i added it to their graph above to demonstrate)
Even the author of the Southern Arc hypothesis, Laziridis, himself doubts this new linguistic dating based on the mismatch with genetic evidence and an historical linguist, Guus Kroonen, has pointed out that the dates are too early and are unrealistic.
The new linguistic theory basically pushes southern arc to even more ludicrous extremes and says IVC and BMAC spoke Indo-Iranic languages. This is one of the stupidest takes in IE studies in a long time.
The practical part of offerings is rarely discussed, but even if we look at it from a secular point of view the effects of sacrificing resources like that are positive. They teach us to exercise will, not to be obsessed with material things and gather the folk for big rituals which helps strengthen the bonds of kin.

"Although he is inconvenienced by the loss of his arm, I would not wish to fight with him either with weapons or barehanded. It is fortunate that he has no designs upon the throne, or he would be occupying it right now. If he were, I believe that I would give up at this moment and pay him homage. I fear Benedict."
Another major element of Guns of Avalon is the invasion of sinister powers from beyond. First time Corwin encounters them in a world called Lorraine where those powers come from the black circle which began as a fairy ring. The latter is well-known in folklore as a place of magic, as well as both good and bad luck depending on the story.
Читать полностью…Avalon itself is mentioned many times, even though it’s not really where the story takes place. Of course Avalon is also taken from Arthurian cycle or rather Celtic myth where it was an island where dead heroes rest similar to the Land of the Eternal Youth (Tir na Nog) from Irish mythology and Hellenic Elysium.
