A place for Aryan (European) Folkish Pagans
"The hero embodies the traits to which a healthy race and culture that produced him aspires.
Without the hero the community lacks a crucial dimension, for the hero is typically the soul of the community;
he is myth in action."
-Ron McVan "Crede of Iron"
Nice adaptation of Gisla saga. English subs are very bad, but if you’ve read the saga it’s not an issue. Worth a watch.

There was a man of whom we have spoken before, Thorgrim Bottlenose; he dwelt at Nebstead, in the inner bight of the river. He was full of witchcraft and sorcery, and he was a wizard and worker of spells. This man Thorgrim and Thorkel asked to their feast, for they had as large a gathering as Gisli Thorgrim, the priest of Frey, was a man well skilled in forging iron. So those three went aside together--the two Thorgrims and Thorkel. Then Thorkel brings out the broken bits of "Graysteel," which had fallen to his lot when they parted their heritage, and Thorgrim forged out of it a spear, and that spear was all ready by even and fitted to its haft. It was a great spear-head, and runes were on it, and it was fitted to a haft a span long.

When Pompey, the first of the Romans to conquer the jews, entered their temple he was surprised greatly and famously exclaimed: There is no image of God within, an empty seat and empty mysteries. (Nulli intus Deum effigie, vacuam sedem et inania arcana). This is how yhwh is supposed to and even demands to be worshipped, but christians disobey this order.

It’s funny how little a typical christian knows about his faith, but what’s even funnier is how due to this most (not all) of them would end up in hell, at least according to their own dogma since they regularly break the second commandment. "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under earth.
In other words any form of idol worship is strictly prohibited and bible makes it very clear. This command comes right after You shall have no other God, which means that it is one of the most important ones, yet look at how many christians do in fact make images, statues etc of not only saints and jewsus, but yhwh himself. In the bible he is described as something without any shape or form thus depicting him is impossible.
Since the Jews, who rejected with abhorrence the deities adored by their sovereign and by their fellow subjects, enjoyed, however, the free exercise of their unsocial religion, there must have existed some other cause, which exposed the disciples of Christ to those severities from which the posterity of Abraham was exempt. The difference between them is simple and obvious; but, according to the sentiments of antiquity, it was of the highest importance.
The Jews were a nation; the Christians were a sect: and if it was natural for every community to respect the sacred institutions of their neighbors, it was incumbent on them to persevere in those of their ancestors.

Recommend a rare European deity for future commissions. Someone who deserves more attention and/or accurate depictions.

By embracing the faith of the gospel, the Christians incurred the supposed guilt of an unnatural and unpardonable offence. They dissolved the sacred ties of custom and education, violated the religious institutions of their country, and presumptuously despised whatever their fathers had believed as true, or had reverenced as sacred. Nor was this apostasy (if we may use the expression) merely of a partial or local kind; since the pious deserter who withdrew himself from the temples of Egypt or Syria, would equally disdain to seek an asylum in those of Athens or Carthage. Every Christian rejected with contempt the superstitions of his family, his city, and his province.

Read the legend about Nuadu, Dian Cecht and his son. It’s one of the most interesting and unique stories I know.

Asatru sees it differently, and teaches adherence to principles originating in customs of the tribe and nation , where people have evolved effective ways of relating with each other over thousand of years. There are no Ten Commandments in our faith, but the sagas, heroic epics, and Eddic poems offer hundreds of examples of idealized behavior.

We should not by all means be appalled over the prospect of Christ and his disciples having been homosexuals. For the idea of men developing homoerotic tendencies who have committed themselves to a life of sexual repression is hardly surprising. Homosexuality has always thrived among Roman Catholic priests…

"This savior [Jesus], I shall attempt to show, deceived many and caused them to accept a form of belief harmful to the wellbeing of mankind. Taking its root in the lower classes, the religion continues to spread among the vulgar: nay, one can even say it spreads because of its vulgarity and the illiteracy of its adherents. And while there are a few moderate, reasonable, and intelligent people who are inclined to interpret its beliefs allegorically, yet it thrives in its purer form among the ignorant."

At last Berg smote Thorstein with the back of his axe; but Thorgeir threw himself between them, so that Thorstein could not avenge himself.
So he goes home to his mother Audbjorga, who binds up his wound, for the skin was broken, and she is ill-pleased at his plight.
All that night the carline could not sleep, so much did she take it to heart. The weather was cold, but still and bright. But she goes once or twice round the house widdershins, and snuffs to all airts, and draws in the air.
And as she did this the weather began to change, and there was a driving sleet, and after that a thaw; and a flood poured down the hillside; and a snowslip fell on the farm of Berg, and there twelve souls lost their lives, and the tokens of the landslip are still to be seen.
The greatest supporters of Christianity do not ''sell all their goods and give to the poor.'' They want the other person to have that attitude of mind. They tell him to lay up treasure in heaven. Because they want him to be a cog of their machine in this world.

Honor the gods yourself in every way according to the usage of your ancestors, and compel others to worship them. Hate and punish those who introduce strange gods, not only for the sake of the gods, (he who despises them will respect no one,) but because those who introduce new gods engage a multitude of persons in foreign laws and customs.

Mankurt is a term created by C.Aitmatov for one of his novels. According to the fictional legend, mankurts were turned into docile slaves via a special torture-ritual. Mankurts do not recognize their name, family and tribe. In former USSR, the term has come to represent those who have lost their ethnic heritage by the effects of the Soviet system.
christians are unthinking slaves created by jews. They also go through a torture-ritual(s) such as baptism and/or circumcision. christians too do not recognize their ancestral Pagan names opting to use jewish or Greek ones. They abandon tribal identity replacing it with a universal one. They even claim that their Ancestors were filthy and barbaric.

Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, ‘Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.’ His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant. One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him. Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said, ‘Ask him which one he means.’ Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, ‘Lord, who is it?
The fact that we are told that Christ loved this disciple clues us in to the fact that this love was of a different variety than what he showed to the other disciples. Thus, can we be faulted for concluding that a homosexual relationship was being implied here? Such speculation, to a Christian, is nothing short of "blasphemy".
