In Book V of Iliad Ares joins the fight and Athena is not pleased seeing him slaughter her heroes. Earlier Homer mentioned that Athena was very powerful. "…goddesses that can lord it among men in battle like Minerva or Enyo the waster of cities." Athena asks Zeus for a permission to go and fight her brother. "I hope, Father Jove, that you will not be angry if I hit Mars hard, and chase him out of the battle."
Yet she doesn’t do it herself. Instead the bright-eyed Goddess helps king Diomedes land a hit on at the God of War. "Diomed then threw, and Pallas Minerva drove the spear into the pit of Mars’s stomach where his under-girdle went round him. There Diomed wounded him, tearing his fair flesh and then drawing his spear out again."
Philosophy is for people who want to feel smart because they are insecure about their intelligence. That’s why most get into philosophy in mid teens and drop that shit by early 20s. Not to mention the obvious fact that philosophy is incompatible with pre-christian religions.

Pagan priest arrested !
Five days ago, police stormed a Kupala celebration in Kaluga, Russia. The festival was canceled and volkhv Belojar, the head of USC SNF (Union of Slavic Communities of the Slavic Native Faith) was arrested. The trial takes place on the 9th of July. He is accused of disobedience to authorities.
I won’t cry crocodile tears over Belojar and his organization. Rodnovers in general and USC SNF especially have been trying to get on the government’s good side for years and got what they deserve. Playing house with anti-European, neo-communist government can only lead to gulags. What is sad is that it’s probably a sign of things to come for Pagan Europeans all over the world. Trying to legitimize your groups is like showing a wolf where your chicken coop is. Sooner or later, it will get hungry.
Glaukopis (γλαυκῶπις) is used to describe Athena’s eyes and has the same root as glaux (γλαύξ), meaning little owl. Owls are described as “bright-eyed” when seen in the dark, and it is appropriate that Athena’s eyes are similar to her animal’s.

The Epicurean Paradox, or the problem of evil, has been deployed against christianity since it's origins. The reason it was preserved was from an early christian bishop, Lactantius, complaining that its unanswerable. But if you notice the dates Epicurus lived, you'll notice he lived centuries before christianity existed. So, to what was this paradox in reference to?
This argument is a retort to platonism which existed in his time, proclaiming, "god is omnipotent, omnibenevolent, and omniscient" etc. But those qualities fail to explain "evil" in our world. It is a known paradox, as well as others which reveals with absolute clarity that the omni-god of the axialists does not comport to reality. Furthermore it reveals the christian & platonic theologies are mutations of eachother, and through the persian connection, came from a common ancestor.
Some claim Carneades, scholarch of the platonic academy came up with this due to skepticism's long reign in platonism. But this, though funny if true, is very unlikely

Monism theologically also does not make sense. First we will tackle the christian then the pre-christian variety.
• If the three entities in the NT, i.e. yahweh, yeshua & spirit are the same being at the same time, why does yeshua pray to yahweh? Why does yahweh forsake yeshua? Why are all three distinctly present during the baptism scene i.e. yahweh in the clouds, yeshua in the water & spirit as a dove in the air?
• If all the Gods in Hellenism are secretly "the one" why do they sometimes disagree in the legends? Why do they have competing interests & domains? This gets even worse when you factor in the Gods of other ethno-religions. If they are all the same entity, why pretend to be multiple?
It's essentially trying to square-the-circle between polytheism & monotheism, by asserting the many must be one, for some reason. If this were the case, the polytheistic legends would not make sense as presented, the one would be either a split-personality schizophrenic, a trickster wearing masks, or an abomination.

There was no real reason for Athena to use a mortal as a proxy to fight her brother since she got Zeus’ permission to fight him anyway. Only one conclusion here. Despite being one of the few Goddesses with real combat skills and a Goddess of War to boot, Athena is no match for Ares in open battle. At the end of the day she, while less feminine that Aphrodite, was similarly disadvantaged.

During The Trojan War Hellenic Gods took part in the conflict. Apollo shoots down Greeks after his priest begged him to. Haephestus saves Achilles from drowning and Aphrodite saves Paris. Ammianus Marcellinus & Sozomen’s Ecclesiastical History detail about how Pagans, who killed a christian bishop named George for murdering Pagans, were put to death by Julian to "keep the peace" instead of fighting the christian threat.
And before you head spins on creation myths I think they apply to that particular people. Odin, Vili, and Vé for the Germanic people, Prometheus for the Greco-Romans, Atum for Egyptians, Nasadiya Sukta for Vedic, etc.
This is the Folkish view and a respectful one that maintains the integrity of each myth rather than deducing it to “The One” or whatever.
According to studies conducted in Western Europe, folk religion is declining at the same rate as religion in general. Because folk religion can be viewed as a subsystem of religion in general, alongside official religion, it is natural that evolutions that affect the system to affect all of its subsystems. However, in Romania, folk religion is declining for other reasons, which are linked to the rural decline. Forced urbanization during the communist period, labour migration to Western countries in recent years and changes in the image of the peasant in the post-communist discourse are just a few of the causes. Furthermore, the efforts of theologically trained representatives of the official religion, such as bishops and parish priests, to combat superstitions, have had some success. All of these factors lead to a decline in interest in folk traditions, which are no longer conserved and passed on. Does this suggest that folk religion is also fading away?

For an attentive cultural historian, fairy tales are therefore of great value, and he will easily be able to distinguish in them all the later additions, which, in the end, will also be of interest to him.
