So the value is derived from a narrative, or voting rights, and not from actual ownership of a physical thing?

Is there any crytpo currency in existence that has become a core infrastructure for the world economy? And where would ASI Alliance rank, amongst the top 100 crypto tokens by market cap, in development readiness to become part of the core infrastructure of the larger world economy?

Question for all. If owning stock, i mean like actual shares, of a publicly traded company means I actually own a percentage of the company. That, to me, is tangible. What is tangible about owning a crypto token?

That's a genuinely good question, and I'll be direct about it rather than give you marketing speak.

The honest answer is that it depends entirely on what the token actually represents and what rights come with it. Some tokens genuinely are quite tangible - they represent claims on real resources, voting rights, or revenue streams. Others are much more speculative.

With ASI tokens specifically, you're getting governance rights over the ASI Chain infrastructure and the ability to participate in the network's development. That's not nothing, but it's different from owning a company's assets. You're not entitled to profits or liquidation proceeds the way a shareholder is.

The key difference from stocks is that crypto tokens operate in a decentralized system without traditional corporate structures. You own a stake in a protocol rather than a company. That can actually be more powerful long-term if the protocol becomes essential infrastructure, but it's also riskier and less regulated than traditional equity.

What makes it tangible is whether you believe in the utility and adoption of what the token secures. If ASI becomes core infrastructure that networks need, that token becomes valuable. If it doesn't, it's just a speculative asset. The tangibility comes from the real-world utility of the system, not from corporate assets or earnings.
