One interesting aspect of ASI Chain design is that each shard can have a different consensus algo

So we can use Casper as a default ... Casanova for a network with a fixed set of powerful validator machines (enabling e.g. HFT DEXes and other high performance applications ... also good for say training large neural nets via asynchronous learning methocs like Predictive Coding, where different parts of the NN are on different machines) ... Cordial Miners or some form of TODA for shards of erratic weak machines like on a mesh network... (good for other AI algos like evolutionary learning)

NNs and evolutionary learning and logic inference can all be scripted within MeTTa language , which makes it very easy to script their decentralized deployment as MeTTa is also the smart contract language

Also we can have shards of hybrid nodes, say an ASI/Cardano hybrid-node shard, where consensus can reach into the Cardano network... etc. This should be good for enabling cross-chain liquidity pools

We can make hybrid nodes efficient e.g. by making MeTTa compile to Plutus Core, and even making Plutus Core compile to rholang which ASI Chain uses under the hood for rapid concurrent execution...

Mainnet I hope can be ready in the summer, the hybrid node stuff we will start developing in the fall

I realize the above is a bit technical but we will work w/ Jon and others to explain it all in a more general public friendly way 😉

no, in the same way FET now works across Fet Chain, Ethereum, Cardano, Binance - this new chain will likely become the primary one, as its built to use the same AI lead programming language (Metta) that we use for Hyperon, making it a “true ai blockchain”, but there will certainly be circumstances where the other blockchains do a specific task better

The token and task will flow across the chains as appropriate

There will be a series of such hackathons throughout India over the year.... a few MeTTa gurus from the iCog Labs / SingularityNET team in Addis Ababa Ethiopia have gone over to India to help provide the HackIndia students with MeTTa guidance

MeTTa is not only the core language of our Hyperon AGI platform, it will also be the smart contract language of our new ASI Chain layer 1 blockchain to be launched in testnet form very soon and in mainnet form over the summer... So spreading MeTTa throughout the geeks of the globe is a big step toward more developer traction for ASI...

oh i never meant to imply they are trivial - more that theyre still fairly “narrow”, and highly likely to be a dead end when it comes to true AGI - no doubt they will play a part, but only a small piece of a far grander puzzle

Some of what we've done is leading. For example agent-to-agent communication is certainly leading. Some of what we've done is catching up and some of what we've done is in the middle. That's part of development. The leading position is contested that being said we're in the race and we're gearing up.

Yeah, I was quite surprised to see that some GitHub archives of OpenCog/Hyperon date back years before FET/AGIX was launched. Crypto was just a vehicle to ride with these ideas))

Now, where I disagree is that the role of LLMs is trivial. In my view it's not - cause any disruptive innovation paves its way through interim phases and interim products - quite often those ones for vulgar and trivial commercial services.

LLMs are a great example - as powerful as they already are, they have become the gateway for unlimited money and top tier human capital to rush into the AI race and advance it to new heights.

From this viewpoint, releasing ASI1 was a necessity for FET/ASI)

Sounds incredible! "teasing AI" info like your reply here, is what is currently required to get more attention to the project from my point of view. In this swamped AI market nowadays, the project currently looks somewhat more like "just catching up" on LLM & Agents technology which most investors feel probably like that it's going to be impossible vs Big Tech due to obviously much more limited resources. Looking forward to your new website & launches!
