Remember though - we’ve been producing lithium from the Uis pilot plant already, and one of the stated reasons for the delay in the ore-sorters is to integrate the lithium plant into the Uis pre-concentration circuit. Lithium from the petalite at Uis has already been sent to a number of interested parties (the last one in Japan), so there is chance, a small chance, that a deal for the petalite output from the Uis plant will come in the short/medium term

It’ll help with the progression of the lithium ridge partnership and if lithium price really took off (I’m not expecting it) then it would stick a 0 on the share price. I’m sure operational focus will remain on tin though

This is the first time in a long while where there's no threat of a placing following share price appreciation. Previously there was always a chance that an opportunistic raise would happen following a big move (to lower debt burden whilst minimising dilution) but now ATM are fully funded there's no chance of that unless the share price really spiked to something silly.

George might be right that news is needed first but imo this is the best chance of a sizeable move north for a long while.

Probably got an awful lot of other stuff in there too, over 90% isn’t tin or tantalum or lithium. Sure it could be used but it would need a bit more work to just be spodumene

Yes I think they will be a lot more aware of current situations regarding tin and the route they have gone so far . They will be also aware of the loans facilities and the repayments they have to make .

I presume investment from Andrada into lithium will only happen with higher lithium prices and a strong case for why they’ll remain at least that high - a behemoth like SQM doesn’t need to be quite so prudent and as the second largest lithium miner in the world they’re all in as it is.
