How Many People Actually Profit from Meme Trading?
Here’s some data from pump.fun analytics:
- 60% of meme coin traders lost money.
- 4.7% broke even, earning nothing.
- 24% made less than $100.
- 11.2% earned over $100.
- 3% profited more than $1,000.
- 0.5% made over $10,000.
The percentage of people who earned over $10,000 is so small it’s almost invisible on the chart.
In short:
90% of meme coin traders either LOST money or made less than $100 in profit.

🚨 Solcat: a possible scam
Today, the pre-sale of the Solcat meme token has ended. You may have noticed posts about this project on other channels
A bought article on Cointelegraph contains the thesis that the team “includes developers from Heroes of Mavia”. The Mavia team released a rebuttal on their Discord and called it a scam
In Solcat's Telegram channel, the moderators tried to justify that the developers were supposedly just working in the same studio as the Mavia developers
Also, in the posts about Solcat, it was often mentioned that the project raised $2.5M from Binance Labs, Crypto com, and Animoca. Solcat did not receive any investments. This investment was received by Heroes of Mavia
The Solcat team stated that the token would be listed on three exchanges, but so far only BitMart has confirmed the listing
