🔺 CoinDesk: Eigen Labs has forced some crypto startups to distribute airdrop to their employees

Eigen Labs, the company behind the development of the EigenLayer protocol, has forced some crypto startups to distribute airdrop to their users

The team of one of the projects said it sent each Eigen Labs employee about $80,000 worth of tokens “as thanks”.

Representatives of another startup said they “received a list of addresses from Eigen Labs and felt pressured to pay, otherwise they risked jeopardizing their relationship with the company, which could destroy the business.”

Eigen Labs said it had no evidence that any employee of the company had pressured the team for improper benefits.
