🔺 Tether may repeat the fate of FTX

US-based Consumers' Research said in a new report that USDT stablecoin issuer Tether lacks transparency regarding its reserves, as well as a proper audit from a “reputable” firm.

Additionally, according to ratings agency S&P Global, Tether scored a 4 out of 5 on its stability assessment, where 5 is the worst rating.

According to the Consumers' Research report, this lack of transparency could lead to an FTX-like crash.
