Long duration power limit (LDPL)
To 160 w
And Short Duration Power Limit (SDPL) to 219 w by default
No. It's just safer.. and don't have to go to BIOS.. if the settings fail. It will automatically revert to default settings.
Watch some videos
That's done when you tweak voltage in BIOS. don't touch BIOS if you don't know what you are doing exactly...
Use Intel tuning utility.
Yeah. And why do you want to disable it then?

80c is fine. These chips are hot. Goes up till 95-100. you may change to a better thermal paste. And try undervolting..
If there is constant crashes, BSOD's then file for RMA. it just means it's about to die.
What matters is the speed of your CPU when it's Rendering and the wattage it's pulling. If it's spiking temperature even with low wattage. Then, you may have to undervolt and change the thermal paste..

Spending last 24 hrs in research for my rig i am getting score on cinebench 2024 pts = 1737
System i7 14700 non k

Gen 4 ssd
With average temperature 🌡️ 85°c
Is it good to go with
Vray converter converts objects with physical material to vraymtl.
First make sure the models u imported has physical material or the old standard material..just pick material and check.
although I hope physical material is default in all Autodesk softwares using ART.
If it's standard, then use 3ds max scene converter to convert to ART compatible materials then convert that to Vray.
Crashing usually occurs if the scene is huge with thousands of objects or some objects are corrupted.. divide the scene into pieces and convert piece by piece. If there is a faulty mesh. You will know.
Anyway try first convert to FBX and just after that import to max and convert to V-Ray... Converters from V-Ray to Standard usually works well, but from Standard to V-Ray not all the time correct... And at the end just add V-Ray materials manually - cost more time, but less nervous... 😁
Читать полностью…just open it in Revit (if you have) and export to FBX file... Or just use online converter rvt to fbx or max...

Hi thanks for your reply, the problem isn't importing the model into 3ds max. The issue is I'm trying to switch the render engine from art render to vray whilst preserving materials of the model
