then how can you be sure he will accept some random golf course model and wont change it. you will have to place it in the real location itself isnt it. if its animation, you will charge a good amount, so, you either pay and buy a good qaulity model from sites or model it yourself. with forest pack or chaos scatter, its pretty easy.. editing the model that you made yourself is easier than editing the model someone else made.

If it's a background, just use some golf course HDRI or even make one with just a place and noise , with grass variations and trees on the border

HELP
Cannot reinstall 3ds max. Some of the components are marked installed even though they are not visible on autodesk uninstall tool list or windows uninstall.
I get error 1603 when i try to continue with the installation.

You don't even have to put the full name dude.
And it's 3ds max, not 3dsmax

If it doesn't appear. It means the words are different. So try different wording
You could search, Autodesk, 3d, 3ds, max, or just the version numbers, 2023,2024,2025 etc.

You just tried one thing and stopped.

Strange experience I am having when working on an existing file and when pressing as always ctrl+s to save the file, it keeps popping up with the screen like you would get when pressing ctrl+shift+s "save as". The shortcuts have not been changes. Tried with new default maxstart file. and also use default new active project.



Should I reset the ini file?



I have never experienced this with the previous releases and this is very irritating.

For corona, your graphics card doesn't matter. Upgrading RAM just makes it able to handle bigger scenes, more polygons, more textures etc.. so more RAM better smoother handling of heavy scenes. you can render videos/animations even now.. but with very small scene..

Upgrading RAM doesn't speed up your render. That depends on your CPU/number of cores/speed.

For RAM. Nothing is too much..you cant say 16 is enough. 16 is minimum these days. 32 is recommended. 64 is good. Anything higher is great..

But then, depends on what you do. If you just render single objects/product renders. Then you won't need so much. 32 is enough.

After trying so hard i finally Solved it, here is how, Go to "C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2022 - 64bit\ENU\scripts\" then remove any number from it after "imagecomphelper"

Hi everyone, I have a serious issue with Image Comp Helper after mistakenly collapsing all the controls now it just flickers whenever i click on it, i have tried uninstalling then installing it but the problem keeps on persisting. Is there anyone who knows how to solve this?

Bigger is better, even for some project 64gb isnt enough. If you're gonna use chaos vantage with corona i think the GPU is also a main factor.

Hola I have a query ,
My device currently has 8 gb ram with 4gb graphic card and I use 3dsmax 20 along with corona 11
My 4k/8k renders take too long for like 12-14 hours on 4 % noise
I'm planning on upgrading ram so should I upgrade upto 16 gb , is that enough ?
Or should I upgrade directly to 32 gb so I can even render videos
