How can we bring textures from substance painter to 3ds max if we are using 3ds max lower version & it don hv substance plugin available.. Can we still bring texture from substance painter to 3ds max?

No, I don't mean that..

I meant that, the software does not scale the rendering performance with number of cores...

Actually the renderers don't scale with number of cores. They scale very poorly.

Example, a 96 core threadripper is only 10-15% faster than 64 core threadripper. And 64 core TR is only about 30% faster than 32 core.. where as it should be double the performance..


So, having 4 systems with 7950X (16 cores x4) with distributed Rendering is faster than a single 96 core threadripper. And also far cheaper...

You can put those with basic GTX 1050 GPUs and run inside a rack. And use it as Rendering server..

I already did it sir, at last I call my friend and he told me as 3ds max 2025 is come before 4-5 month so it will take some time for proper crack. So now I will install 2024 version. Don't know it's true or not.

You can see there that the 8000+ USD threadripper which has 64 cores gets just 2x the score of 550 USD, 16 cores chip which has 4X less cores.

Theoretically, score should be around 50-60 million. But practically. It won't be.

So practically, having 4x 7950x doing distributed Rendering independently gives a total performance score of about 55-60 million. Which is far higher than a single threadripper and far cheaper.

Joyboy is right, 4-5 lacs on one pc for rendering? But 2-3 high end pc with ryzen 9 7950x thats way better also if you want only one pc then you could opt for Ryzen threadripper cpu
