Probably a bug or some corruption in the scene... if it was working properly till now. Try merging everything to fresh scene.. save as new file.

your 3ds max is 2025 dude. change the path to max 2025

but when i installed corona 12 there was no scatter file. i installed corona 12 in 3ds max 2023 maybe that's the problem?
