Anyway try first convert to FBX and just after that import to max and convert to V-Ray... Converters from V-Ray to Standard usually works well, but from Standard to V-Ray not all the time correct... And at the end just add V-Ray materials manually - cost more time, but less nervous... 😁

just open it in Revit (if you have) and export to FBX file... Or just use online converter rvt to fbx or max...

no I mean, for ex it's like a pattern, sometimes the layer is shown only on a part of the whole material, and often times due to the way UV is mapped its behind the Sphere

Material preview will have the material settings applied all around. Not just behind.

I don't know If you are talking about Coat layer visibility. If it's not visible from the light direction, you can also enable background in the preview to check the reflections.

your fan speed is at 64%. set your fan curve to speed up when temps go up. let it go to 100% when temps go above 75.

Hmmm I got it.. I guess it depends on individual preferences. I've never used it in my life, i always just run an IPR to test the appearance of material. I don't trust the material preview.

You can still continue.. my friend is using it 5 years after he's passed out.. but not sure if you have to get brand new or can renew it. I think you have to renew it before it expires.. not sure.check the site and options
